ooi, did anyone managed to wrapped all doors and dashboard and seats with leather? otherwise fabrics?

I wonder how much it gonna cost?

i'm thinking about upgrading the interior though, all the plastics silver finished, im thinking of chroming them and also the plastic doors and dashboards, im thinking about leather wrap everything including the chair. also, did anyone managed to change the whole clarion dashboard panel into touch screen LCD type?

adding a sun visor, can anyone quote me a price for everything? anyone did these before?

Last I heard the visors cost at RM80, now should be cheaper around RM40...many brands can choose from..

As for the touch screen, anything is possible in modding, try to ask around.

Wrapping the doors only should cost not more than RM400-500 with PVC and fabric.

My savvy now offcially is over than 1 year-old. Problems found during duration of ownership.

1. Noise from suspension when going over bumps - solved at SC - 1 visit
2 Glovebox handle broke - 2 visits
3 Faulty left front absorber replaced ( due to pothole) and rear drum hubs and driveshafts replaced under a recall - 2 visits
4 Faulty washer tank resorvor - problem found during 20k service - 1 extra visit to have it replaced.

Overall 9 visits to SC for servicing and claims in 1 year. After sales service is good from EON sc, now they open daily from 8 to 7 pm still close at weekend, an extra two workings hours trying to follow PESC which now opens during weekend, still can only lodge complaint during weekdays.

Pass crosswinds, flood test in ungazetted LPT stretch and kemaman in 20 dec , the water level was almost 1 wheel high, that time didn't know the whole country was having flood.. luckily didn't use the Segamat road to go back to east coast. got back in time from Batu Pahat.

Clocked more than 1600km in ten days...

This car used just RM50 for every 500km trip.. overall extremely happy with the car. ..

the export version only have additional abs and air bags. The build of the car is still the same. So the savvy in the pic(singapore savvy) is as tough as the savvy in malaysia.

As u can see in the pics, the savvy only sustain minor scratches on its body and the overall shape of the vehicle is intact,

looks like proton really delivers what they promise. A really tough little car. Kudos to proton icon_rolleyes.gif

The IRM (Iswara Replacement Model) rumoured to be out sometime this year is it?

If the IRM based from Savvy, it will look good in terms of safety......

iswara still the cheapest sedan for proton, shouldn't be more then rm40k, else will be difficult for low incomer since the petrol might rise soon...
