Just like what Gary said, refill full tank - drive - refill full tank and see how much fuel s used..that's more accurate since our fuel gauge is set pretty weird.
even at 1 bar fnally, savvy still go more than 100km..

Hi check if the coolant thermostat..if it's faulty the thermostat's valve will block completely/a bit coolant from entering the bulkhead to cool down engine...blocking is a feature for cold start to warm up the engne qucker until it reaches certan temp then the themostat change shape then let the valve open.

thermostat housing cost RM160..

Ditch the eagle NCT5, it's bad, even my cheap 13'' barum Brillantis feels so much better on wet road... nct5 is prone to aquaplanning but i dun experience any with my barums..

imagine 'm usng lighter 13'' rms, see how bad is it the nct5.

i'm using 185/60/13 tyres..stll no buang feeling at corners, better than stock!

yes many people express surprise when they test drve my car..savvy is powerful,..change change to open pod ar filter and most the exhaust..the low end torque s excellent..

ride n handling it pawns ALL japan cars includng swift..

many people overlook savvy becos of its size..hgh speed stability and cornerng are excellent,

on tighter cornering, the body roll could be elminated using sport sprng, just one minor flaw.
*
no doubt...kekeke..drive savvy long distance, from federal road, to highway, to expressway, to mountain road, i would say..

handling=excellent
pick up=can tapao 1.3-1.5 stock car on hilly road anytime
top speed=only reach 120km/h so far, dun wan die so fast
comfort=back passenger abit suffer due to space constraints

My guess is stock surplus. As BLM launch, those extra Savvy stocks will be cleared very slowly.

They should officially reduce 8.5k on Savvy, and force the crappy Viva to have interior 'face lift'.

is this in force now?

hi all. a future owner of Savvy reporting in here cool2.gif

just booked my Apple Green Savvy yesterday at my hometown, Alor Star. want to ask opinion from other Savvy otais here. i booked a 2007 car as the price for AMT H-Line for 2007 car is only RM37,300.00 after deducting the discounts and voucher given, and also the down payment of RM41.25. is it worth it? i mean to buy the 2007 car instead of opting for 2008 car just because of the price?

hey toshia! that's cheap. just today i saja saja go jalan in proton edar and eon. in penang it seems like the most they're offering discount is only RM3500 for the standard version 2007. as for the lite one. there's no discount.

my hometown is in alor staq also. may i know which proton show room you went to? so the 2007 AMT H-line car is only RM37,300? very good deal. still got 2007 stock left?

i also think the deal given was too good to turned down

the discount for the car being a 2007 car is indeed only rm3,500.00. however Proton currently having a scrapping program for Savvy purchase. something like trade in your old car for Proton to scrap them. but the car to be traded in must have road tax, geran and must pass PUSPAKOM and JPJ checking. if you have such car, you can trade in the car when buying Savvy, you will get a rm5,000.00 voucher. that what's make the car i booked, an Apple Green 2007 Savvy AMT H-Line only priced at rm37,300.00

i booked the car at Jalan Pegawai showroom, same row with Al-Ikhsan. i'm not sure whether that showroom still got 2007 car or not, but i think the showroon at Alor Semadom, near Taman PKNK there still got stock left for 2007 cars

just buy a tiara, cost around RM2k only biggrin.gif
then u can trade it for new Savvy, RM5000-Rm2000 = Rm3000, so you'll save 3k

90 cars in front doesn't mean ur fren need to wait for all 90 ppl on top to finish service 1st.
U can ask the SC for an appointment, so u can cut queue, also depends on the SC workload

actually my rear spindle/bearing still looks good in condition.
anyway its FOC, so just change it to prevent any problem.
the rear bearing is more susceptible to those cars which have waded through flood waters/ banjir kilat

thanks bro. i started to fall in love with Savvy when i saw an Apple Green Savvy here in my flat, and since that time i had set my heart to get 1 myself. and some more got a very interesting deal and fit nicely in my installment budget of < rm500, so i just straight away booked it

among the 1st question i asked the salesman is whether the car is showroom car or not. he said that the car is a from 2007 stock, not a showroom car. he also mentioned that if they were to sale a showroom car, they'll need to declare it first

i read somewhere the 5k rebate only applies for Savvy hi-Line.
if the chassis number is below 35201, then u are included in the latest rear wheel bearing recall.

kelisa 03 should be quite tortured by now.
components rattling, power loss?

consider urself upgrading to Savvy then.
kelisa still can fetch quite a good price in market, so just top up some money to drive home with a new Savvy
