Something really weird happened yesterday. as i was driving home from work in my sister's savvy. i was tailing this cefiro who's hogging the overtaking lane, so out of curiosity to see how fast he was going, i took a look at the speedometer only to noticed that the needle is dead at 0km/h!
but when i turn on the headlamps, the speedometer came back to live again and remained alive and working well even when i turn it off later.

this morning speedometer is working well too. so will not send to PESC for inspection. you know lah how mafan it is.

anyone owners faces the same situation before?

Actually, that is what u see on paper broucher.
More specific, not like Proton website.
The price still same but can u find any price for savvy in Proton site?
Only have Lite starts from rm**, F-L starts from rm** and h-line starts from rm**
Which is only Solid price, not metalic.

For me i just got mine which is black colour. It gets dirty really fast and easy, if you are a car lover you will probally wipe it brows.gif & the reason why i choose black it because my SA can get me black colour within a week where other diffrent types of colour require you to wait for few weeks untill the date of delivery. Its all your choice biggrin.gif almost all the colour offred by Savvy gets dirty very fast. rclxm9.gif

@matrix
Hmm i think im having the same problem like yours where the fuel consumption doesnt seems to be that fuel saving wink.gif the SA pumped full tank for me and currently its at 258KM(Trip A) and running at 2 bars of fuel. Wondering why shakehead.gif

Means you run 258km and left 2 bars or only used 2 bars?...yah, so far, isn't very impressed with the FC....but maybe it's still too early to judge...gotta wait until after 1000km and 1st service, then more accurate. The first tank was like 12.xx km/l for the Savvy....this is same like my Myvi before 1st service....I was hoping the savvy could hit 15km/l...if not gonna complain to SC already.....

Do you have the "nyeet nyeet" sound when pressing the clutch? I tried spraying WD-40, unfortunately, i can't see the underneath without breaking my back (i'm quite big size and not very good at going underneath cars and squeezing into small places)....i took a shot underneath the pedals with my digicam and rougly tembak the WD-40 everywhere...but didn't seems to hit the spring thingy (i think that's where i'm suppose to lubricate...now my Savvy smells like WD-40....).

btw, just tinted my car with CoolWorld tint..cost RM450 after discount.

When buy 2nd hand car...the condition of the car is more important than color. You pick the best condition car and can paint it purple if you like later.
laugh.gif

btw, after driving the Savvy for 1 week plus...compared to Myvi...the pick up is not as good as Myvi 1.3. Myvi still rules supreme in pick up power and engine quietness. You don't have to rev as hard to get the same speed and Myvi just get there faster than the Savvy. Also, when going uphill with full load, i can feel the Myvi got loads of oomp raring to accelerate even at 5th gear when i hit over 60km/h. With full load and uphill, the Savvy can feel losing power and not accelerating unless i press the pedal hard.

Of course, handling Savvy rules supreme...have some fun in the hilly areas before you reach the Mall (dunno what u call that hill...can link to Bank Negara also)...turn left and right very quickly and laugh at the Iswara behind trying to keep up. laugh.gif

Left 2 bars.Haha yeah lets see what happens after the first 1000KM service.Don't mind telling whats your current millage? I only drive to school and come back now clocked up to 300KM already. biggrin.gif

Hmm for the nyeet sound i've never encounter any.I think you should get some grease instead of WD-40 where grease does not dry's up so fast.Well if you are free to come down Subang i can help u to apply it since im small size pretty thin and small size.

I've just tinted mine as well, got my car tinted last week in Puchong located behind Tesco i cost me RM 380 to tint the whole car.I only need to top up RM250 where the other RM150 was deducted from the Voucher given by my SA.The brand of the tint flim is Tint Master. sweat.gif So far so good felt a little diffrence after tinting. nod.gif

Current mileage is 500km++. Can book for 1st service already. Thanks for your offer thumbup.gif , i'll see how it goes. Maybe i'll just ask those guys at SC to do it for me.

But i wouldn't wait until last bar...also last two bars very funny...blink when there's still 2 bars. I topped up the petrol and it fills up to about 26.xx litre.

Currently fill with V-Power, seems like getting a bit better mileage...i seriously think Shell Green sucks. Gonna fill with BHP on next refill.

From what i read before, drive by wire also depend from ur last driving style. If u lazy, just drive slowly, u car no power after that. But if u drive agressively, u can feel the power on next drive session.
For me, it's super useless.

Ha-ha...last night i simply close eyes and spray underneath the clutch there...i guess must have kena the spot. This morning no squeaking sound already. I hope i didn't spray anything else i'm not suppose to spray....

Now i also noticed something...a screw or bolt behind the front disc break looks rusty!!! Do you spot any rusty bolts behind your disc brake? WTH....new car already got rusty bolts!

So no need to post the pedal pic...non silicone based lubricant spray is adequate already like WD40 and Double TT.

I'll post the pics of shock absorber struts - allen key type bolt is the newer version.

Try to clean the bolt - see if it's covered with red soil.

You shoud get at least 350-400 km per 25 litre for city driving. Continue to update us ur FC.
