LOL man if u wan to talk UK then use Lotus as example... their signal is right hand side... dun use german example (citreon as u said)
*
But not everone in UK uses lotus. If im not mistaken most of the british car makers have gone bankrupt. The only one left and are making money are land rover ( and those are LUXURY cars) meanings that not everyone owns them.( im not sure about this...)

It could be safely said that most of the car in UK are those cars imported from the EU and Japan. So its safe to say that they are accustomed to the left hand signal switching.

anyway befor going more and more off topic lets just say that left hand signal light swithing is not that rare and many ppl in the world are using them. If they can adapt to it want cant we. From my pov its not really that difficult to adapt to it and im always switch between a wira and waja( both manual)

So to say that proton is stupid for making left hand signal change is just...stupid. Many cars in the world are having this type of configs and they are not labeled as stupid.

Well lets not make this an issue any longer and just go back to the topic of PROTON SAVVY thumbup.gif

men, i knwo its not a problem if driving slowly normally.... but if u are a street racer then its all different... thats why its a major problem for racers... u know..
must fast shift and control streering
*
yes u are right... fast shift and control steering... u even say it urself... u didn't mention signaling when driving fast... who the heck care about signaling when u concentrate on ur steering... i bet u just got ur license...

i even can do the same fast shift with signaling... u can't do it doesn't means other cannot... and there is not point bashing proton becoz of signaling... omg... if like that dun drive others euporean car where the signal is on the left deng....

p/s yes i admit i'm an a$$Hole myself coz sometimes i dun use signal.. thats becoz when i look at the rear mirror and side mirror.. there is no car at all....

there is no reason to bash a "cheap car" for having its signal placed on the left....this is just typical msian mentality...."aiya , why signal put at left side so mafan!" drive manual ah? mafan!....just learn to get used to it then it will be fine and VIVA pricing is really stupid....44k for the highest spec and its onli 1.0? i rather get myself a SAVVY H-Line which have all the safety features and a 1.2 liter engine that pwns MYVI anyway and its pricing is almost the same as the highest spec VIVA
*
exactly, please look into their own "driving style" style first....

QUOTE(nerd @ May 19 2007, 12:18 PM)
who says only super high end cars have signal stalks on the left? rolleyes.gif

anyway, signal stalks on the left is a good thing. safety feature. and if you're complaining that it's hard to signal with a manual, means there's something wrong with your driving. you signal a few seconds BEFORE you maneuver, not AS you maneuver. and that few seconds is enough for you to put your hand back on the gearstick.

and what's wrong with trying to be European? don't Europeans make world-class cars?

why not criticise P2 for being 'Japanese?'

and don't say that OH P2 IS JAPANESE SO OF COURSE THEY ARE GONNA FOLLOW THEM doh.gif
*
nah, they are just sore losers who admire the handling of proton left hand side signal cars but yet follow the crowd to buy their "prasso"

QUOTE(eng98 @ May 19 2007, 05:29 PM)
wtf? signal on left also bash? or they just jealous they cannot have their signal on the left like others european cars??
*
yeah, cuz their "prasso" cant handle as well as proton's junk

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ May 19 2007, 05:38 PM)
OMFG... I actually like this thread since it gives the Savvy some credit since it' not really a bad car (although there are still some parts which needs improvement)...

But WTF signal stalk also want to bash?

When I'm back in my hometown, I drive a Kelisa but when I drive my Mum's Citroen, I have no trouble adjusting to the left-sided stalks...

DUH...
*
dude, thats the typical mentality of malaysian, everything also bash, so we just have to get used to those kids.
smile.gif
i wont be surprise they will bash proton next on why they use rear disc brakes on a 1.3 car since "prasso" is not using it
whistling.gif

sad eh ?

This guy joker ada hati want to become a racer..if LHS signal can't get used to.. how to adapt/change to left foot braking from toe heel method in most race cars with clutchless gearbox like F1.. if simpler adaptation like the LSH signal stalk can't do, dun dream la.

Just test drive old Savvy AMT (beige interior) and obtain brochures.

Pros: - nice to drive
Cons: - rear headroom height: my head almost touch the top

The Hi-Line version wasted have that 1.2k+ extra 'useless' accessories. And Silver Metallic color only available for Hi-Line version?

Mats, visor, tint, trunk tray (I think 1 more item I forgot) for 1.2k? I would happy to get the Hi-Line without these extras accessories.

Immobiliser, ABS, airbags aren't listed within the extra accessorries; the extra accessories is practically useless except the visor.

If normal AMT could get Silver metallic, then I get that one.

Other than that, I'm tosing the coin to get Hi-Line or normal AMT. wink.gif 2.5 weeks later I'll be booking either one of them.

p/s: Lol. Soon I'll own two arch-rival cars - Savvy AMT and MyVi EZi.

Added on May 21, 2007, 10:58 amAnd for the left signal light. When test driving, the 1st three signal light uses I accidentally turn the wiper.

After that, I just get used to it. So WTF complaining the LHS. It took less than 2 min to learn.
