If buyers believe the property is in demand and future price rise, dibs or no dibs shouldn't make a difference except for flippers that don't have mean to service interest payment and planning to sell immediately after vp.

Why fennel launched on a later date still have dibs? rclxub.gif

too bad. just back from there and  Ecosky confirm no DIBS. even i applied the loan with dibs quite early. everything pull back. sad.gif

but will discount but not sure is 3-4%
*
Yes, confirm no DIBS, according to SA. My case also same, I even signed the LO from bank before Budget2014. sad.gif

Anyway, EcoWorld said they are working on the rebate. Might need to sign an extra Supplementary document when sign Loan Agreement. This is to avoid buyers the hassle to reapply loan from banks. The Supplementary document will state the rebates in replacement of the DIBS scheme. Have to wait and see what will happen then. hmm.gif
Personally, I dun mind them providing rebates, as long as it is adequate and logic to compensate the cancelled DIBS. smile.gif
Good luck to all if us!! Huat ah!!!

Which unit he wanted to get?

Didn't someone mention dibs is replaced with something?

If your friend can't get loan, he only have himself to blame?

With the current uncertainty, are there any canceled units that are released out now? Same pricing? Could be opportunity for those who missed the boat previously..

Yes. SA will call the next q on the waiting list based on their preference listed down earlier. If discount is 4-5% for dibs replacement scheme. You will entitle to 8% inclusive the previous 3% rebate. Hope they gave 7% end up u no need to pay any downpayment. Huat huat huat.

IMHO, 3-4% is too low for a 42 mths project.
Some already offering 4-5% for 36 mths project. The longer the duration, the higher the holding cost. Thus they should offer something more.
Earlier on, some wisea$$ minister even quote 10-30% higher for dibs project! Lol.
I think 7% is a fair figure given their troubled start inconveiniencing their purchasers? Hehehe.

Not so much the interest but the outlay can be quite a burden. Imagine from not having to fork out a single sen for four years compared to having to fork out cash now. So how?

Total 7%?
At approx rm650-670psf absolute for tower a and b?
The question is, is it worth getting? And what is the upside?
I guess good news for own stay purchasers. More dropouts and genuine house hunter would be able to buy their choice units soon.

TKK? I don't comprehend lah boss. What is ur message?
