Most major banks has started to revoke DIBS. Those who has not, will have difficulty to provide further support, due to quota allocated for the said project. Options are running out. Just secure anything you feel best at current environment!

Seriously, don't let the availability of Dibs screw up your head. You think the developer will left the buyers at lurch when SPA has yet to be signed. They are probably working on plan B and Plan C to make sure things will work as smooth.

I feel nothing at all. I don't feel PhaekChaek. Let's chill have a beer and see how things will fall into their places...eventually.

Facts:
Dibs is going to be abolish sooner or later. Why delay the inevitable?
Dibs was promised by ecoworld previously.
Some banks have already halted processing nor acceptance of dibs projects.

In lieu of the above, the more pressing matters would be how does Eco world intends to deal with this. Despite knowing the storm that is going to hit, why don't they arrest the issues directly?
A straight and simple solution would be just to offer discounts in lieu. But somehow, Eco world doesn't seems to favor this idea. Perhaps, they are worried that discount too little would result in more drop outs? Discount too much would hurt their margin?
Almost seems like a lose lose situation to them.
Given that this is their maiden development in kv, they would definitely suffer some bruised egos shall they fail in this maiden voyage.

Have checked with EcoWorld, if the DIBS cannot be offered eventually, they will use DIRS "Developer interest reimbursing scheme" instead. Definitely NOT further rebate or what. They seem very confident with their plan B.

So guys, no worries. If something unexpected happens, you can always give up the unit before SPA signing, without any charges.

By the way, I have got my loan approved (with DIBS) and will sign the LO very soon before BNM announces the actual date to abolish DIBS.

I hope above helps to ease those who worries.

To the best of my knowledge, Ecoworld hasn't decided yet. Anyone who bought DA MEN project at USJ should know this DIRS well.

Anyway I advise those who've already secured a unit n had loan approved should sign LO asap before BNM announces the effective date of DIBS abolishment. Cuz I believe DIRS certainly not as hassle-free as DIBS although it serves the same purpose.

Nobody wants it happen. At least both DIBS and DIRS serves the same purpose.

Also, don't give up your unit easily as there are thousands of people in the waiting list wanting to buy Ecosky so badly.
