Hi, just test drive my Kia Cerato 1.6 with Potent Booster in this morning from first Seremban toll to Skudai Johor Bahru toll (308 Exit) and back to Seremban, drive speed 120-200KMh (80-110KMh AES area) , fill full tank RM100 run 271KM x 2 , estimate KMH still balance at 142KM, Very disappointed is estimate time 142KM run in Seremban town only can go 46KM, So sad. But anyway now my car power worth buy R logo for my KIA Cerato.

Anyone know where to get floor mats made specially for Cerato?  The one i got from supermarket which i laid on driver floor keep sliding to the front.  The manual said to get floor mats that "firmly attached to the vehicle's floor mat anchors" but so far i haven't came across any...  Any ideas?

Hi, Just drive my Kia Cerato at Seremban to PD, and try to drift Turning corner, feel very stable, but just in the even road, at same uneven road will feel the tire like under the stairs and have some rocking like the absorber very soft,  i drive my Proton Waja to some uneven road is not feel like that, so what mean of the safety ESC, HAC,BAS,TCS.

When buying a new car should have been a happy thing, but the new car has a problem, the depot can not really guarantee the quality of the new car,
really helpless.
I suggest you strongly urge kia replaced with new engines or replace another kia car, if  can, requested the forum all kia owner joint for denounce kia
kia car must really face all the problems, so that it could ensure that before or after the kia car owners face more serious problems to be able to fully support, rather than muddling along.

If the problem occurs in my car, my personality burst，and not any way to solve a problem or neglected car problem,
I will take the following actions
1.)I will be drift in the kia depot with all the other kia car Knocked bunch , and claim the insurance.
2.)Self destroy the car at other place do like road accident and claim the insurance.
3.)Let the car unexplained disappearances and claim the insurance.
4.)Sold the car and buy other car, even if that loss
Need to know buy a new car, in addition of every month loan , for a period from one to nine years,
face of old car is better than new, tears really flow in the heart, car owner will really mad, and might will make incredible things happen.

By the way, found the GPS a little less user friendly, so I added PAPAGO X8.5, so far working well, no more annoying volume change when navigating, and can get monthly free & easy map update from  http://www.malfreemaps.com/

For those interested to try it, can download from

just unzipped and copy the folder into GPS's SD card, then go to APPS>OPTION>SYSTEM to change Navigator Path to
\STORAGE CARD\PAPAGO X8.5\NAVI.EXE

next go to AUDIO>ADVANCE setting, set Navigator volume to +10 and Radio volume to -5, then start from Navigation button and enjoy it. Can always change back to Speednavi by changing the Navigator Path.

I've tried several option of Garmin XT but fail, just wonder anyone have successfully install it and like to share it.

Looks like the 3 years free service parts and labour is over for all new Cerato purchased in July 2014.

You can get those coil mats, pre-cut to suit the Cerato. They are many types but choose one with anti-slip soles so that it doesn't move about easily. Most car accessories shops have them in rolls and will cut them to the size and shape that fit your car. You are welcome to PM me if you need help. Thanks
