My cerato (2.0) is currently at 6k km. Bought it last 3 weeks. I travel JB-Pekan frequently and with RM100 (full-tank Ron95), I can travel JB-Pekan-JB (about 660km) via Mersing with a single pump. It's impressive I would say. Have tested such trip several times. Never test 100% in city. Just sharing.

Mine share the same FC with you with 100% city driving. Guess it's norm? But I heard few ppl can reach 5-600km in city. Then ours is not normal
Yes, the longer you caught in jam, the more the fuel burn especially when the 1st & 2nd gear engaged or even without moving.

I remember this happen once before my 1k service. That's was my 2nd/3rd full tank refill when engine start and reset the mileage. Does this happen only when you refill full tank or everytime when ur engine start?

first of all, do you understand what does L/100km means?

let me try to explain to you... the L/100km in your meter is actually forecast fuel consumption and not actual fuel consumption... 8L/100km meant that, 1 liter of fuel can go 12.5km... so the lower the L number, the better your fuel consumption...

so since it is a forecast FC, it wont be just be at one number, depending on how you drive the car... the more you accelerate, the higher the L number is... since it burn more fuel to go a said distance...

as for you getting 50L/100km when you in P and just reset, then drop when you move... it is because it calculates the fuel used VS distance traveled... when you start engine, it is already burning fuel... but since you're at P means you not moving at all, so distance traveled is 0km... let say you used 1liter and didnt move 0km, so it give you the max reading...
once you start moving, the distance traveled increased, so it forecast a better FC... lets say you traveled 12.5km and used 1 liter of fuel, so the reading goes to 8L/100km...

so its not an issue at all... the number in the meter doesn't control your FC but your right foot does...

I believe there is a direct relation between your consumption and your car's average speed (available via trip meter A or B).

For reference, an average speed of 35 - 44 KM/H results in me doing 540 KM and fueling in RM92 worth of petrol.

If your average speed is around 20, i'd say 400 odd KM sounds about right, if you are doing a slow drive with lots and start/stop.

For city drive, i think the FC is not really impressive.  I would say mine is 90% city drive (only on weekends where there is a bit of smooth traffic for driving around in KL), and i could only get between 380km ~ 400 km for my first two full tanks (around RM 94.00 per full tank).  So, i think your FC is quite normal (comparing to mine, of course).

Bro u change to leather seat outside does it void the warranty? And how about the 6 airbags? I thought if car with 6 airbags cannot change the seat coz the airbags are stored inside the seat?
