As my RHB Plat Mastercard's anniversary approaching, I called up CS to ask for AF Waiver & GST reimbursement. Got it easily eventhough I hardly use the card for the first year and only earned <100 points. Only need to swipe 3x within a month.
Recorded down the CS's name and time of call just in case. Use the card more for PPL access.

just received the samsonite backpack today. to get this gift, need to swipe once (any amount) for both cc. i swiped rm1 petrol for each cc. lol...

good to hear that..was afraid to apply this card due to the high AF..and their requirement to fulfilled 36k usage per annum

according to the sales person, now no longer 36k pa usage, just use 3x in a year to waive af.

Since when as I find the information all stated 36k annual usage
Therefore, I have never thought about it..I fact this rhb platinum is better than alliance platinum if the new rules of 3x able to waive AF

may i ask how to get the sms alert notification for purchase/charges on credit card?
I only got the first transaction notification, after that I purchase another RM80+ transaction online, no sms alert like RM80+ charges to your card something like that. how to set the notification ah?

How long does it takes for the bank to update the online banking after you have request to cancel your credit card? it seems for me like ages !!

I would said 6 months - 1 year...
When the time I had MY RHB Cards Cancelled in 4/2012 but I still can login see the Cards at their Online Banking even Still Stick in MY CCRIS Report in 5/2013 as they never Update pun...

I got to Call RHB to Remove it from My CCRIS by threaten them would make a complaint on them to Bank Negara, If They X Do it as I Said...

I give them half year...They have Removed that after I have Checked on in Dec 2013

No kidding. It took total of 2 yrs to completely remove from your ccris. Really efficient..
