RHB Shell Visa card is by far the lowest quality credit/debit card I've received. All the ink has peeled off. And yes, the laminating layer is starting to come off too.

Is it finished in minutes or seconds?

I did yesterday, online transaction of RM250, OTP generation timestamp of 12:00:02 (i.e. 2 seconds after 12 noon). Key in 6 digits within another 5 seconds and transaction went through. Is the timing based on the OTP generation timestamp, or based on completed transaction timing (i.e. AFTER inputting 6 digit OTP)?

Based on T&C, for credit card, limit to first 168 people per day. Based on past experience, how soon will the quota run out?

Also, can I confirm the cashback pool refreshes at 12 NOON, rather than 12 MIDNIGHT?

Yeah of course 42 customers could conquer it all, I should say it is limited to the first 168 TRANSACTIONS.

Damn, I missed that. Thought it was capped at RM20 per transaction, but max 4 transactions per person.



Especially how RHB in their example also shows 4 separate transactions.

Guys, all those who didn't get the "normal" cashback (BONUS/OTHERS/PETROL) for last month statements, has the situation been rectified for you?

My July hiccup has been rectified. Statement date is 24th of every month. The July cashback was posted together with my August cashback.

I actually wrote a strongly worded email to RHB customer ADVOCACY, not sure if that helps. Cause too often their cashback got one issue or another. I made them calculate the cashback owed, and they said they will credit with the August cashback. Everything tallies.

Look into Affin Duo (Visa), 3% cashback on autodebit, the only such card in Malaysia I believe. Easy money.

Bruh I hope you know TnG card topup on certain Shell stations also can get the 12%

Has anyone participated in RHB's 6-mth 0% DAI2 program? Is it legit 0% interest, any hidden fees?

My statement date 24th, I can usually see cashback credited on 25th morning. So I can only tell you in a few hours time.

When's your statement date?

RHB will take 3 or 4 days, not sure why so inefficient. Both email and online, same case.

I just had two unauthorised transactions on my RHB Shell Visa card.

RM0.00 Google*Temporary Hold
RM100.00 Google*ADS3629937781

Called RHB CS right away. They said card will be blocked, new card sent to my home address within 7 working days, and they will file a dispute. As a temporary measure, they will credit RM100 to offset the freafulent charge. They said the whole issue should be resolved within 25 days. If the transaction was indeed fraudulent, Google will issue a refund.

Has this happened to anyone here before with this card? How easy was it to get the fraudulent transaction reversed and get back your money? First time something like this has happened to me, I'm usually very careful and never save card details except on Shopee and Lazada.

Did they send replacement card to home address or branch?

Ringgitplus is very notorious lah. Last time tak pasal² my Maybank application through Ringgitplus was rejected. I have a feeling there is quota and additional considerations for the sign up gifts, maybe that's why.
