Sometimes they just put the card into Freezer (6 months) as a deactivate Card, Not really proceed to the Card cancellation

fly126 I just called to RHB and requested to reinstate and will inform me within a week if it is approved. I told him, if it is not approved I will not re-apply again.

when is statement date for RHB credit card? Is it the same for everyone? Can I request for a different date?

I received my very first statement last month between 10th to 20th and the statement date was 22 Sep. But this month i haven't receive any statement and it's already 21th.

Guys, should i worry about my cc statement that may be lost in post somewhere?

Yes, U can Request change to Other date by calling RHB at 1800-88-8742

If by Post, U can received IT within 10 working days after your Statement date or call RHB to check for your Outstanding balance

Is the online account easy to apply one. The last I had was so frustrating and required me to walk in to nearest branch to get the pin. I hope it is much better now.

When you fill the Apps form u ada minta PIN (ticked on Pin Required at Apps form)...???

For online account, I received nothing when I held it for few months.

Not sure with it now but I think u need walk in to nearest branch to get pin as it shown in (Click on Registration) https://logon.rhb.com.my/
As they will need the RHB 's Staff ID to help you on online banking Registration...

Yes, when I applied mine in KLCC, I did ask about my online account. She said can be easily registered, I asked for pin she said no need. Then, came back and registered, stumbled upon the problem. Called CS, need to walk in to nearest branch. Macamlah I'm so free.
I didn't go until the day I cancelled it.

U go there on Weekends when you tak kerja...

Lagi lazy. This time if it is approved for my reinstatement, I will just go during one of the Fridays to fix it up since by nature Fridays lunch break is longer.

Just that I hate it to walk in for this PIN which is not really a petty matter.

Actually, Their CS's service (24-hours Free Toll no.) quite good on handling customer complaint: they willing to retaining U back + given 2 years Annual Fee Waiver...
(That's the way to Valued a Customer & to Earn back a Customer's Loyalty... )

Not like some of the Bank ie, Citibank Not Willing to give AF Waiver to their loyal Customer like some of us here have decades holding their CC, We beg sampai MATI pun Tak kasi Waiver

Reasons I cancelled RHB's CC: They NOT Willing to Increase my CL even I yearly submitted Income Doc after 3 Years holding their CC + too many GSTs have to Pay...

Once I get it will keep in drawer, only bring it out when I go travelling.

fly126, got my card via Poslaju to office.

Yesterday another CS called me and said I cannot have 10k CL because their lowest CL for Plat is 15k, so that's the lowest I can get. I agreed though. This card will be kept in cold storage until I use it for travel backup.

Now I will need to struggle with their online banking...
