actually i don't need it per se, i don't even know what to do with it. i'm just trying to solve my sd card problem the internal vs external swapped d. instructions were to delete swap file from that folder but apparently i deleted the whole folder. so now the memories are still swapped, device memory showing 29gb and external 10gb.

I'm trying to do away with it all. cos now my sd card is mounting and unmounting by itself and showing up as swapped. In other words i'm in big doo doo.

sorryla slow.

To be fair, the only way the memory is swap is that the script to swap it is still active. Easiest way is for you to factory reset.

No wonder your SDcard has this problem. You cannot delete the init.d folder as it has instruction to link your ext sdcard as internal memory. No wonder your phone is trying to find the ext card as memory. You have to factory reset it and set it back to default

This question perhaps ZoidbergFry or hooh888 could answer. My wild guess is that GCC is generic across Linux/Android, whereas Linaro contains ARM specific optimizations.

lol, tons of difference,u know if u do the coding...haha..kinda hard to put it in words.so sorry im very bad at putting things in words but i know the differences... tongue.gif

You guys experience any drastic battery drain lately? On stock android, but now notice that Android system is taking up 24% of my battery utilisation, which is unusual. Screen is only 25%.

i received my Anker Powerbak yesterday. some may recall i had some major disappointment with my latest YooBao Long March purchase (charger 'blew up', etc)... these days, too many fake YooBao and very scary.

i got the Anker E4 powerbank. it comes with 2 ports (1A and 2A -- not many powerbanks have 2A port which is useful for our Note 2). it's a 13000mAH powerbank. it feels sturdy and somehow manage to to give the cheap feeling which one gets with the Long March.

it's heavier than Long March. size wise, its slightly longer. the package does not come with a charger. the guys at Anker are being practical. their documentation says any 2A charger is fine -- so no problem for Note 2 users. in fact, the documentation goes on the say that if we use 1A charger, then it'll just take longer to charge.

my unit came fully charged and i used it to charge my note 2 yesterday which was at 60%. it's still showing full bar on the Anker (with the last Long March i got, this caused the Long March to drop 1-2 bars -- I suspect I got fake Long March or a really bad one).

so far, i'm happy with this and will feedback more after 1-2 weeks.

dunno whether this is good or bad... you need to press the button to actually start the charge process. unlike Long March where you connect all the cables and it starts to charge. at first, i was also puzzled as to why the Anker was not charging, but after checking the documentation, i found out why... biggrin.gif

sadly, hard to find supplier in MY at the moment. i bought my unit from Amazon (the way Anker sells their product) and had it shipped to USA, then got someone to bring it back for me.

i've asked some LYN traders to check it out and bring this Anker (Anker welcomes resellers).

ok, photos...

Design wise quite similar to Yoobao Long March. Notice the charging rate is 1800. Very good i must say. My Long March 2A charges @ 900 only. sad.gif

Mind to share why do you choose DME1 instead of DMF2 since DMF2 is the latest pre-rooted for Malaysia according to this.

Nice one. Yes 2A are hard to find after the Long March. So far my Long March has not given me problems, but I got one Yoobao 13k (the one with the Transformer logo) and another 15600. I opened up the 13k and it showed good quality cells rated at 2600mAh, and according to calculations it is genuine capacity. Haven't tested my 15600 yet. One of brotan's posts before said actually a higher charge out rate will cause much higher drain from the powerbank than normal. Perhaps this is why the current generation of power banks do not have 2A outputs. I've been reading up a bit on DC conversion electronics tongue.gif
