I took my note out of my bag to read a text, next thing i know the screen won't stay on it stayed on for maybe 2 seconds then goes off then I have to hit the home button or power button then it goes it.
Finally managed to get to settings - display and saw that it was set to turn screen off if no activity for either 0 or () couldn't see properly i just managed to hit 2 minutes then it went off again.
So after i set it to 2 mins it worked ok. but when i went back to the settings the minimum was no activity for 15 seconds per normal

What's going on? I'm rooted and stock ROM

Happened before once but somehow it fixed itself.

any ideas anyone?

Coudl it be a bigger problem that i gotta get checked out before the warranty expires? but the i cant replicate the issue.

Hey guys, do you know if i can move my zinio mags and reader to the external sdcard? Internal memory is filling up and i dont want to do the sdcard switch to internal memory thing cos per Uncle Benny's instructions need to flash Perseus kernal, hoping not to mess too much with stuff this time. Just rooted and still on stock ROM. You know i tend to forget what i've done later.
Tried GL to SD but Zinio doesn't show up as list of possible aps to move data.

Anybody know?

Darn!! my Sandisk SD card showing symptoms of the mount/unmount by itself issue. Will try to see if seller will RMA for me.

OK Uncle Benny you are right. even with my other SD it is unmounting by itself.

this is weird. now when i check storage under settings it shows 29.88gb total space for device memory and sd card. my phone internal memory is only 16gb but the sd card is 32gb.
If i check using es explorer both internal and external storage are visible.

restarted phone again now the internal and sdcard memory are switched. i tried the switching before but now dun even have an init folder in etc.

phone is rooted on stock rom. help ! help!! must have scewed up big time.

Did the swap then wanted to undo it followed instructions i think i deleted the init folder cos i can't find it now in etc. been a while already.

actually i don't need it per se, i don't even know what to do with it. i'm just trying to solve my sd card problem the internal vs external swapped d. instructions were to delete swap file from that folder but apparently i deleted the whole folder. so now the memories are still swapped, device memory showing 29gb and external 10gb.

I'm trying to do away with it all. cos now my sd card is mounting and unmounting by itself and showing up as swapped. In other words i'm in big doo doo.
