I think I have enough for the Note III but just feel sad to see I will lose out so much if I try to sell my Note II later. sad.gif
Bought at RM 2250, I think I will lose at least RM 1k.

AudioOut_2 forms the bulk of my wakelock too.

I have been getting about 6 hours+ screen on time until the battery reached 5%. Can't seem to breach 7 hours.
Bluetooth, GPS, 3G all off. Mainly use for messaging, web browsing and some gaming. Battery dropped about 3% overnight in sleep mode.

Anyone here manage to get better screen on time with stock battery?

Panjangnya .....

but it still fits in the Otterbox after the cutout mod. Default Otterbox is BIGGER than the Zerolemon casing tongue.gif

Not only the size but the additional weight from the zerolemon will be unbearable. shakehead.gif

AudioOut_2 are not real wakelocks and incorrectly reported since 4.1.2

Don't think about the resell value, only gives you unnecessary stress. Just think about how much you will love the note 3. tongue.gif

i recall the stock weather widget can also display a little icon on my contact's birthday. but somehow, it's no longer there...

anyone knows if this function is still there...?

sometimes, this is the pain with Android and Samsung. like Reader Hub thingy i shared yesterday... suddenly a function can be removed... for Reader Hub, I can't seem to add my own ePub books anymore... *sigh*

Tried to update Asphalt 7 since yesterday but been getting this error. What could be the reason? Any solution besides uninstalling and reinstalling again?

so i just wait and see how. but this Sat... if not fixed... i'll be near a place with Unifi. then maybe might just uninstall and reinstall. smile.gif

Google is afraid that the effort spent to develop the keyboard are wasted as most manufacturer creates their own tongue.gif

It's not just Samsung. This is typically the problem called vendor lock in. Once I was a junkie for a particular platform. Then one day I thought let me try and use a different program to read my file.....omg I couldn't despite converting...

So since that day I look for portability as the main criterion for my stuff. That is why I use handynote instead of s-note and other non-vendor specific apps for the stuff I need to do.

ya, that's why i worry about those extra functions that comes with Note 2... the notes... if export to image, becomes useless...

then there's the add notes to photos... front and back... i wonder if its a new standard for images (as in just add into metafile data) or proprietary...

ya, i guess i need to sort out what i should be using... handynote... hmmm... previously, i was using NoteEverything... very comprehensive.

eBook reader. wow... moon reader has changed a lot since the last time i used it. but too bad it's kinda expensive if i wanna go pro. i dun mind paying usd1, if they have such sale... hahaha...

For an app that you can re-use across all your phones, it's worth that pack of ciggies or 2-person portion of Hokkien Mee tongue.gif

I prefer the Samsung keyboard since it has the extra number row. I don't know why the stock Android keyboard does not provide that option.

Quite troublesome if the row of number does not exist on some keyboards, enables faster typing tongue.gif

Yeah man. Even Swype doesn't have it.

That's why initially I used Hacker's keyboard, which emulates a full kbd with Ctrl and esc and cursor keys, but not all apps recognise those key presses. And in portrait mode the keys are too cramped. Using only in landscape mode.

Now after some ROM mucking about, using Samsung stock for a while.

Was using Swype initially(Beta and Full) , until I realized that the 'gesture/slide' function is also available in the stock keyboard, back to stock it is doh.gif I released that I can type faster on stock too lolol. The layout of Swiftkey and Swype is too odd for my liking.

One of the neat things about the samsung stock kbd is that if u dont use theswype ffunction u can set the swype action to emulate moving the cursor. Sadly it doesn't seem to work across all apps.

Using Swiftkey and got used to it haha. Stock keyboard, i just can't stand it. No auto-corrections. But the number row is a bang. Hopefully in 4.2.2 Samsung will implement auto-correction? drool.gif
