Already applied for the Maybankard 2 Platinum, how long does it usually takes for them to approved?

I applied mine on the 6th of July (not new card though, it's upgrading from Gold to Platinum). Approved on 12th July. 15th July- reflected in maybank2u.

I applied mine around 2 weeks ago, so far no news from them.. Im upgrading mine from basic to Platinum.

2 weeks is too long. You should give them a call and inquire about the status of your card application. I called them up on Thursday 11th July and was told that it is on the last stage of processing. Now it has been approved.

Call them up at this number 1300 88 6688, and they said there is no application for cc...

Call up their branch and they say they will check... lousy...

bro, for upgrading from gold to platinum, is there any specific form for upgrading?

OR just fill in and submit the normal application form and they will upgrade for you if you are exisitng 2 cards holder?

how to upgrade platinum? what is the requirement? i request for two times, all fails without reason.

Visit the maybankard centre.

Provide 2 months payslip whereby your salary must be at or above RM5,000. (Yearly income RM60,000)

There after the officer will proceed for you. =)

Fill up like normal the application form. Same requirement as you're applying for a new card.

Why don't you ask them why is it rejected? Why do you think it's rejected then? I gave them 3 months salary slip, I dont have outstanding balance with my maybank2u 2 gold card, my records are clean, and I dont have major commitments besides my car.

Fyi, there is a specific card upgrade form too.

My salary direct debit to MBB so just need to fill a form and its done within one week.
Anyhow, i don't see any benefit using platinum right now

Previously try with SC Platinum they said cant lower

I believe certain level of cards have the minimum credit limit. So, you can reduce your limit to the minimum of the card level.

True. Citibank Cash Back Platinum min credit limit is 10k. Cannot be lower anymore. You want lower, switch to lower level card. That's what the customer service told me!

I'm not sure about that then. Because I inquire about the card at Midval CS and they gave me the application form. Similar to the application form available online. So I just downloaded and digitally fill it in and print.
