Does anyone have differences in the TreatsPoints shown under Maybank2U Rewards link/page compared to the inidividual TreatsPoints under Card Details ?

Me. Cause some TP is from the savings account.

Just curious, do you think I can change my current Petronas Plat to Maybank2card Plat?

mine is reverse.. i applied Maybank2card Plat first then get the Petronas Plat.. i think it is no problem to add another card, because it will share credit limit..
*
This is the thing that I don't want. I want to change to Maybank2card Platinum, reason being, there is no advantage using Petronas Plat. I know I can apply another card, the problem is sharing credit limit, and why pay GST 2x for the single limit that the bank can offer. I want to convert because there is still some installment with the Petronas Plat, not sure whether it is brought forward to the Maybank2card account.

you cannot change the card, it is different package.. the best thing you can do is, apply the Maybank2card.. after approved, go cancel your old Petronas card..

if you too calculative with your GST, apply the Maybank2card one month before Petronas card anniversary, then cancel Petronas card before the GST kick in..

my advice, if you can foresee your spending will be rm2k using Amex, just straightaway apply the Maybank2card and dump the Petronas card.. you can easily use TP to pay the GST on new card..
*
It's not calculative, it is the feeling of "beh syiok" ness having to pay the GST, although I know it can cover back from my TP. It is the feeling.

GST is a must-pay for all Credit Cards each year ... thanks to Ah Jib.
if "beh syiok" don't apply... why didn't you apply for Maybankard 2 previously ?
*
I have this card for few years already, that time no Maybankard2.

I believe certain level of cards have the minimum credit limit. So, you can reduce your limit to the minimum of the card level.

For my case, the CL of MBB 2 AMEX platinum is the lower than Citibank clear card  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
My current case is, my Maybank Platinum has the lowest limit, which is almost 1/3 of my OCBC Ti. sweat.gif
My salary and other savings all in Maybank, but never get auto upgrade since I got my card 5 years ago.

Just curious, is there a way for Maybank to automatically upgrade the credit limit? Or maybe we can just email the application form? I found it quite stupid to go through the hassle of the fax machine.

Automatic? I guess none of Malaysia bank offers that. ;(

Well, I have few credit cards, and besides Maybank, others are doing so. That's the thing I cannot understand, especially since my salary is bank in to Maybank.

Were you saying temporarily credit limit increase or permanent credit limit increase?

If you are talking about permanent, bank will only increase your limit if you always burst ur previous credit limit. (My friend's credit limited increase because of that)
*
Permanent increase, well I won't say I never burst the limit in Maybank, but not always. But for other banks, I also seldom burst the limit, maybe once, or even just twice.

possible. someone I know got his credit limit increased. now it's 3x his income.
*
Income as in annual or monthly pay? I know I have some cards almost a year pay, some is 20% of annual pay, some is 25%, some is 50%. 2x or 3x of my monthly pay would be about <20% of my annual income.

Parkson / Robinsons / Metrojaya is better value than AEON vouchers.... uses less TreatsPoints.
Again, depends on your shopping pattern smile.gif

But Jusco no expiry. Others have only expiry.

True.... all those have 1-year expiry date... Quite sure you would spend within the year... if not you won't bother looking at these Departmental Stores
*
It's hard to say. I have so many vouchers that are expired, and most of the time I only realized the expiry after the expire date. sad.gif sad.gif

Of course, the CS will say NO.
MBB won't announce it advanced.... or else everyone will redeem as much as possible.
Makes no business sense to inform earlier.... but signs are very clear. Why don't you just trust the "signs" ?
*
Yes. The signs are there. Anyway, even my Amex MR pts also feel shrunk. I used 250pts for RM1 instead of 200. So, I guess the next one will be TP.

As far as I know, whatever in the gold card be it installment plan, outstanding balance or the points will be transferred to the platinum because it is an upgrade. Recently I've just upgraded my gold to platinum and I've requested everything to be brought over to my platinum. CS did not query anything despite me having ez payment. I've also requested my gold card to be cancelled.
*
Good. Then once I got this card, I will transfer everything from my Petronas Platinum to this card. How long does the card take to be delivered to your house? I can see the card is in my account, but not yet reach my house. So many days d sad.gif. My OCBC Ti 50 cap already finish. Looking forward to spend on this card.
