hi all, I just received my card yesterday. today i use it to pump patrol. after transaction success, i received a sms says:"thank you for using maybankard for MYR200.00 at SHELL.....". but my transaction is RM50 only. is it every time i pump patrol also will count as RM200 in advanced?

i was registering all the possible payees under the maybank2u's bill payment in order to maximize 5% cashback + 5x points (weekend) on my newly acquired maybank amex ...

found out the drop-down menu to choose amex as payment method, it's only available for Telekom, TNB & DBKL (cukai taksiran) ...

for IWK, Astro, Great Eastern Life, there's no option to choose amex as payment method ... i've yet to try Maxis as it keep telling me service is not available ...

so, this means those payees (that does not show in the drop-down menu) do not accept AMEX (for manual payment and not auto) via maybank2U at all?

if yes, then i have to juggle between maybank amex and ocbc to enjoy the 5% cashback - which could be quite confusing during bill payments ...

Can I apply for it?

having two mbb2, one gold, one platinum, would get me rm100 cash back monthly.

It'd be great if I could do it.
