The evergreen TP is what sets Maybank apart from other banks. Now no more. sad.gif If they take away the 5x TP or the 5% weekend rebate I will ditch Amex for good

For my case, the CL of MBB 2 AMEX platinum is the lower than Citibank clear card  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

My current case is, my Maybank Platinum has the lowest limit, which is almost 1/3 of my OCBC Ti. sweat.gif
My salary and other savings all in Maybank, but never get auto upgrade since I got my card 5 years ago.

My situation is almost similar to you.

Technically, I'm saving it to redeem a brand new car hahaha. I mean, come on, 3 years validity ain't that bad, but I would like my Treatpoints to last till I go in the coffin, at least. Awww

Precisely my point, might as well apply for the HL Mach card with 10% daily cashback if MBB decided to take away the rebate

Why would you want treatpoints to last so long? Also got depreciation, and you don't earn interest for saving them up.

More or less swipe not an issue. Even you get 1 million TP each year, if you keep it and don't use what benefit?

If you exchange for voucher this year RM5,000 can buy you more than next year RM5,000 due to inflation. Also if this is not additional spend (i.e. you would buy anyway) you've effectively converted it to cash. Cash earns interest, can be invested, bla bla.

Unless you just like to see big number when login M2U then whistling.gif
