I applied mine on the 6th of July (not new card though, it's upgrading from Gold to Platinum). Approved on 12th July. 15th July- reflected in maybank2u.

I applied mine around 2 weeks ago, so far no news from them.. Im upgrading mine from basic to Platinum.

2 weeks is too long. You should give them a call and inquire about the status of your card application. I called them up on Thursday 11th July and was told that it is on the last stage of processing. Now it has been approved.

Call them up at this number 1300 88 6688, and they said there is no application for cc... shakehead.gif

Call up their branch and they say they will check... lousy... shakehead.gif

Guys what do they meant when they say they will "pre-approved" the card for me?

U do not apply the cc, rite?
Bank approve the cc for you with you you provide the documents.
*
Yeah i just send them all the necessary documents through email, without filling any forms.

"Pre-approved" means they already approved it?

Pre-approved means they give you a card without you applying for it. Could be because you are having some loan or investment with the bank.
The latest policy by Bank Negara prohibits the offering of pre-approved personal financing products, such as unsolicited pre-approved credit cards
*
Yes you're right. I heard the officer telling me the same thing. That Bank Negara already prohibits them from pre-approving card, but she say she can help me "squeeze" my application in together with some of her other client.

what u saying is bank only look at monthly income...what i;m saying is annual income...
so if got bonus, the annual income increase....still cannot?
*
You can try, i just got my platinum when my monthly salary is lower than required.

But with my bonus + incentive is around 120k+ annual. I just submit the borang BE with my monthly pay slip and it got through.

Yours is incentive.. guess its different if you're comparing it with bonus, isn't it? Bonus either once or twice a year, still can be approved huh?

Incentive/commission still less than the min req (RM60k)...

The minimum requirement for maybank 2 cards is rm36000 per annum which comes about rm 2500 a month. But what if, my basic salary is 2225 but i have overtime and every month my net pay is definitely rm 2800 and above. Will i be eligible for this card?
*
Should be no problem, just submit all the relevant document
