done in 1 hour is for new card application.. credit limit application is different, maybe need to wait 1 week..

why you need to increase credit limit? if you need it for limited time like holiday oversea, you can request temporary increase limit.. this one easier to get approval but need to wait 1 week too..
*
yup, I mean increase CL, ya need to wait for 3-5 working days.

Because the CL offer from bank is quite low at the first place even not x2 salary, probably I have limitation on my documents on that time when submit application, so although the bank has approved my application somehow the CL is low.

So now gonna apply to increase my CL for daily purpose. smile.gif

wat i mean is they could tell u whether they would be able to increase the limit to u based on ur salary straight there... there is a financial consultant there u know.. i m not saying booth but the 1 on 1st floor... approved or not will take some 3-5 working days.. like i say credit card limit is based on ur salary -->2.5x ur salary... but they do have special case such as when u have a large quantity of money in their FD or saving... they might consider also..  laugh.gif
*
oh I see, this is for special case right that you are talking about.

I tot they can increase so fast within 1 hour.

Thanks for your sharing... rclxms.gif

if say i'll be away for the next few days and i would like to pay my bill during weekend to take advantage of the rebate, i have the option to select the effective date to be this weekend. I just did that and it showed at the summary page that my transaction date is today. Will i still get the rebate for the weekend transaction then? has anyone done planned transaction and still got the rebate?

If you apply it during the TreatsFair, later on you will still need to change your card. The one you have gotten is only temporary.

Credit limit application - my bf applied for it on Saturday, and it was approved on Tuesday

i don't know what it mean?
i also applied the maybank 2 card at treat points fair,
when i need to change the card since it is temporary?

I don't know the details. This is what the Maybank personnel told me at the TreatsFair when I inquire about upgrading of card

My mbb2amex just got fraud transaction, mbb changed a new card for me.
Hence astro gave me a msg saying my auto debit didnt get thru, kos card number already been changed. So i furnish them with new no.

However, whats SHOCKING is MAXIS auto debit can stil go through.
HOW ON EARTH Maxis manage to get my new card detail without having me informing them??? Thats weird.

Has anyone experience the same thing??? hmm.gif

there is 2 way to do auto billing...

1. Maxis tell MBB how much to charge
2. MBB ask Maxis how much is the bill

The 2nd way will still go thru even when MBB card is change.

Correct me if i am wrong.

I had recently changed my AMEX card to a new card too (with different card number) due to unauthorised transaction.

Confirm with CS, autopayment application via MBB (ie, those that we fill up the forms and fax/email to MBB.) will still be continued/valid even the card number has changed. On the other hand, autopayment application via merchant (ie, we go Maxis/Digi and register for autopayment) is no longer valid.

And yes, my latest TNB bill was charged by autopayment in my new card,

Agoda wont know if its a Platinum or Gold card.
it could only decode the CC number as a maybank issued card

As that was the reply from Amex's CS, i dont recall the receipt printed entire cc number, together with security code.

I remember during Shell Lego craze, that's what the pump attendant shown me, that is, to re-insert the card to reprint the receipt.

anyway, i cancelled AE liao

I checked already, the petrol reprint receipt also didn't show any details except the last four digit of the card.. As I need each time to reprint receipt as original receipt is to claim petrol allowance from company and duplicate will I keep to keep track record of my cc...

Lol, 3 years still acceptable for me but they better don't increase the required points.
