Why I don't get the 5% cash rebate on weekend spend for my M2U Amex ?  cry.gif  I check both transaction date & posting date are the same date and on weekend.  Is there a min spend amount to entitle for 5% cash back?  Total spend in Oct (from 6/10 till 26/10) is > 500++ but zero credit (cash back).
*
Check 1st or 2nd of November for the cash back. There is no min amount.

Same here. I always apply for internet access even if I only have cc with that bank. Just personal preference. icon_rolleyes.gif
Just a few to share... smile.gif
I can check the transactions I made a few days after I swipe w/o waiting for statement.
I can check to ensure cc bill is paid (via IBG from other bank).
I can keep soft copy statements instead of hardcopy for ease of future reference and record.
I can pay bill using the cc in there (bank dependant).
I can check reward points and do redemption (bank dependant).

Sorry, please confirm back if you really get 5x TP for AIA swipes. I thought all insurance payments have been revised to 2xTP early this year? If 2xTP, it is only 0.8%.
That happen to my eTiQa insurance. Ever since, I switched to OCBC (5%, but will be 1% after this month mad.gif ) and Watami (3%). thumbup.gif

most merchant don't accept Amex coz their charge high rental fees to the shop owner..even if the shop owner have the swipe machine..they will tell customer that the Amex sys is down coz they have to bear the 11% charges for using the Amex swipe machine...

anyway this is coming from my friend la since she is selling watches and always reject Amex card..

think only recently Petronas accept Ames card lo

how much % usually u get charged for using AMEX at small shop e.g at Lowyat Plaza computer shop

some charged me around 2.5 - 3.0% on each transaction, and they said the % is higher than Visa/MasterCard.
