Yes. Call them and tell them you want to pay via Amex and want it to be charged today. That's it.

but Google Wallet accepts Amex. so, transactions at Google Playstore can use Amex. the currency will be converted to the respective currency though, so if you select GBP, then GBP will be transacted.

so aia klang accepts amex over the counter? or all aia accepting amex over the counter?

since you have confirmed aia klang is accepting amex.. hehe.. maybe i will cancel my autopay with aia.. and pay with amex.. 
not sure worth or not the effort going there on purpose, since ocbc titanium can get 1% while amex is 2% (based on points conversion).

Sorry, please confirm back if you really get 5x TP for AIA swipes. I thought all insurance payments have been revised to 2xTP early this year? If 2xTP, it is only 0.8%.
That happen to my eTiQa insurance. Ever since, I switched to OCBC (5%, but will be 1% after this month  ) and Watami (3%). 

how do u know double charging? from M2U transaction history?

in my renewal, Etiqa charged the card on Saturday (with SMS notification), it actually got posted on Monday.

i see! if Etiqa-Maybank unable to reverse the Monday charge, get Etiqa to refund and bank-in back to you.

I just renewed mine last week. Called them on week day and requested for them to swipe your Amex on Saturday.

They will ask for minimal info on your car and provide you quotation over phone/email.
They can check your car current market value as well.
If you agree with the quotation then they will get full details from you to proceed the renewal.

Yesterday morning, I received sms alert on the swipe. Just like clock work. Done this twice already. 
Will need to renew roadtax tomorrow via MyEG.
