depends on your definition of "legit"
U do know that even in more developed countries, small shops give CASH DISCOUNTS if U pay with cash?
It's another way, perhaps better, than some here stating $100 price but charge $103 if credit card.
If they state $103 but give one discount to $100 for cash purchase, same numbers but different psychology on buyer gua  brows.gif

Actually I did read an article from BNM stated it's illegal to pass on the surcharge of using credit card to buyer few years back. We can actually complaint the issue to BNM. However, I can't locate the document again from BNM site.

for astro, you can always go to any of their walk-in counters for payment via amex
if you call in to their hotline, only auto-debit accepted for amex though
not sure on the processing date

how much you were charged for using amex to pay for the air ticket.

my recent transaction they charged me rm48 credit card fee for 3 ticket which doesn't profit me if use amex (5% + 5X TP) than using Debits card with 1 TP with only RM4 debit card fee.

It's RM8 per pax per way. Depends, if the amount large enough..then it will negate the fee. Nowadays, I use direct debit or another credit card.

our AMEX cash back capped at RM 50 per month so the amount should be more than 1000 to be worthy if we took Treatpoints amount.

RM160 x 5% = RM8 per way. So anything above that amount is ok. And yes, need to consider the cap too smile.gif
