hi, i'm getting a new rig but i'm not so good with all the hardware stuff. so, my budget is around rm 3k more or less for pc excluding monitor. so can anyone recommend me what should i buy? would do some gaming, and hope still can support certain games in future such as watch dog, coh2 and gta5

Other brand may consider Xigmatek Tauro 500W RM199. You can get FSP Hexa 500W from Garage / Lelong sellers easily. Cheapest i seen so far is CastleIT from lelong, RM137 only. I get mine from him with RM16+ postage to Sarawak reach in 2 days only.

the only thing i wanted now is GPU. RM1040 for a gpu. im eyeing for zotac 760 for rm899, but is AMD has better offer (and performance) at around my target price (rm1040)?

some info, i already got 650w PSU, a 1080p monitor. and mostly playing at 1080p.

Currently at this very moment,GTX760 is the best GPU in terms of price/performance.You'll never go wrong with that.Slap a bit more for Zotac GTX760 Amp! Edition for optimum performance.

for the gpu, should i choose leadtek or palit? which one is better? and if i save for casing, then can i get better processor or mobo with the budget of rm 3k more or less?

Asrock B85M Pro4 RM279.Comes with internal usb3.0 socket which MSI B85M-E33 doesn't have.For the case,you can pick CM K280 for a price of RM129.

owh okie, can i know what's the best config (emphasis on mobo, processor and gpu) if u were given budget of rm 3k more or less? don really care bout the hddisk size and also excluding dvdwriter, casing and monitor

owh okie.. just googled just now and tot it was EVGA which is better.. erm, is the xeon better than i5 in terms of gaming? and the psu 500W seems a little low to enuf power is it?

Malaysia don't have EVGA.

i5 is actually enuf for gaming.I chosed Xeon because i wanted to max out everything within the budget given.Of course Xeon's better.It has the power of i7,tho.

from previous post, u recon Asrock B85M Pro4 and also MSI H77MA-G43.. which one is better? both support usb 3.0? and does 500W psu enuf to power the config?

Asrock B85M Pro4 --> socket 1150 haswell.
MSI H77MA-G43 --> socket 1155 ivy bridge.

Those are from different socket.It's yours to choose.
And yup,500W will be enough to power up the rig.
