QUOTE(Cable707 @ Jul 21 2013, 02:55 PM) Asrock B85M Pro4 RM279.Comes with internal usb3.0 socket which MSI B85M-E33 doesn't have. For the case, you can pick CM K280 for a price of RM129. owh okie, can i know what's the best config (emphasis on mobo, processor and gpu) if u were given budget of rm 3k more or less? don really care bout the hddisk size and also excluding dvdwriter, casing and monitor This post has been edited by carepayer: Jul 21 2013, 03:07 PM

QUOTE(Cable707 @ Jul 21 2013, 04:11 PM) Brands of course.. Anyway,Zotac's has better performance on their AMP! series and comes in cheap price.Oh,it has better warranty too.. owh okie.. just googled just now and tot it was EVGA which is better.. erm, is the xeon better than i5 in terms of gaming? and the psu 500W seems a little low to enuf power is it?

QUOTE(Cable707 @ Jul 21 2013, 04:49 PM) Malaysia don't have EVGA. i5 is actually enuf for gaming.I chosed Xeon because i wanted to max out everything within the budget given.Of course Xeon's better. It has the power of i7,tho. from previous post, u recon Asrock B85M Pro4 and also MSI H77MA-G43.. which one is better? both support usb 3.0? and does 500W psu enuf to power the config?

QUOTE(Cable707 @ Jul 21 2013, 05:38 PM) Asrock B85M Pro4 --> socket 1150 haswell. MSI H77MA-G43 --> socket 1155 ivy bridge. Those are from different socket. It's yours to choose. And yup,500W will be enough to power up the rig. owh, ok.. since both mobo dont differ much in price, which one would u recon? and would my rig performance increase if i use higher psu, like 620W

QUOTE(Cable707 @ Jul 21 2013, 05:49 PM) No.PSU is just a power supply. It has nothing to do with PC performance.Spending too much for an unused extra power is just a waste. Regarding the IVY vs Haswell,It's actually depends. If you got so much work to do with your PC,i'll go for Xeon anytime..and if it's only for gaming and some light job,i5's will do.. okie, sorry for misunderstanding coz i tot higher psu can provide more power to the rig so that the gpu and cpu can run at its max performance
