QUOTE(izputra @ Jul 2 2013, 04:29 PM) What a calculation..lolz The rare breed is one factor, another rare thing is our cheap but high specs car The new Cerato is better specced, but it comes with a much higher price tag that makes it a bit less value for money as compared to our Forte Even with the Kia Cerato launching I still receive many booking for Forte. It is value for money and the most affordable segment C car to own. Looking at the respond I believe many people will be hunting for 2nd hand Forte when the current Forte stock is finish.

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jul 2 2013, 04:47 PM) Ya. A CD2 cost 320 each, a MC5 cost 320. A PS3, Assy2, T1 Sport cost 440 each. So 320 x 4 = 1280 Trade in = 400 Balance 880 440 x 4 = 1760 Trade in = 400 Balance = 1360 The feeling of less than 900 makes me feel that I can take the money out easier. 1.4k looks like alot of money. So this one is dilema also. Bro, try reading up on ACHILLES Tyres. I must be honest and admit that I've not used them before, but based on reviews (online and from my friend whom drives a 328 with it), it seems to be the most impresseve tyre for its price range. Here's the company's Malaysian webpage for your convenience: http://www.achillesradial.com/en/tiresPS - Pls don't shoot me if the availability of these tyres are limited due to the lack of popularity (maybe not because they aren't good, but yet to be famous).

can anyone tell me how long does the 1k checkup take? I'm wondering whether I have to leave the car at the SC or if I can just sit around and wait for it to finish?

Thanks bro. I have looked into Achilles ATR Sport 2. The price is like 250. I have no experience nor any one I know of is using Achilles. If it is really that good with the given price, I will be very glad to try it out. I will just need more testimonial. Maybe I really need to read up online. performance can be superb with a lower price. Forte has proven that.

QUOTE(ghostshell @ Jul 3 2013, 10:16 AM) although the features provided are better than the same segment vehicles, I think its priced quite high with about 17-20% hike from the current Forte... nonetheless, our Forte is really a good buy and I'm lovin it

They're trying to position themselves since the launch of RIO. Matching Hyundai, since they're of the same parent company. In fact, K3 is using Elantra's base. Most of the specs are of luxury / premium which I *think*, not needed anyway in our everyday's life. But, of course, it is handsome. haha

But, of course, it is handsome. haha Well, of course for those who can afford and are buying a new car, they will deem Forte as outdated and the new luxurious spec and base is more premium. The more premium the better. Who doesn't want that? Human nature. It just comes with a price tag. "Most of the specs are of luxury / premium which I *think*, not needed anyway in our everyday's life" sounded like a sour grape to some. All of us (I am generalising) will want that some where in our heart (including myself) at the same price. The only consolation is that the price is 14k to 21k higher for the 'premium'. Else we will be kicking ourselves/ myself for those who has bought the car 1 month ago. I will be the first to admit that I will bang myself to the wall very very for not waiting for another 4 months to get the new car, IF the price range is the same.
