Planning to change my oem forte rims to a sporty aftermarket rim of same size(17"). Will this void my warranty?

I'm not sure if there's an absolute answer for your question, but I can share my experience and u can judge from there

I traded in the stock 17" rims and tires to 16" about one or two weeks after I got my new forte, after my car due for 1k first service, I sent to sc for service and in additional I ask them to do alignment coz my car has pull left issue, they did the job without questioning my new rims.

Thanks...appreciate that!

What I know is that that part contains sensor. Light sensor that auto dims your rear view mirror when detected darker front light in comparison to the back. Double sided tape is not recommended I guess. Self glue-ing is messy. Unless you double tape only the frame, but need careful DIY as the border is thin.

i betta go to the sc then....

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jul 1 2013, 02:27 PM)
Yup. Suppose to last longer than your car. Better flow is confirmed, but cleaner air I am quite skeptical. Oil is there for the filteration, but too oily will oil up your throttle body. So oil properly.

Increase in power I also doubt it. It feels a lighter acceleration.

Must tell SC not to touch your filter. Else they will just take out your filter, change it to stock. Happened to my friend. Luckily the filter is still in the bin when he went to get it back. The boy who serviced his car must be a newbie or something.

Thx guys....

Ya. Did some calculation with whole set rim + GY Assy 2 tyres. After trade in rim and tyre need to top up 2.2k. Big money wei.
*
I would go for cheaper tyres since we dun speed all the time on Msian roads....ESPECIALLY on MALAYSIANS ROADS!

Hi guys... i went to this kia SC in klang yesterday to fix my windscreen sensor thg that i posted before. The SC guy just glued it with double-sided tape. I wasnt happy with that so i went to Puchong 3S center, i asked the SC guy to check it. He said double-sided tape is ok. I asked both of them if double-sided tape ok, then why is the a clear opening on my windscreen tint at the top, both of them blank....never answer that and just said its ntg. I went to to these 2 SC as they were the closest to where i live.

Can you guys clarify this? Motorman & Buydirect. If your SC can rectify this problem ill drop in this Saturday.

That is actually your GPS module. Your tint is 3rd party, they worked around the module so they didnt have to take it out smile.gif I guess double sided tape is acceptable to me, as long as doesn't look too hideous smile.gif
*
But if u zoom in the pic...u will see the darker tint with some cross patterns (looking like some grid thg)..... i tot it was some sensor connected to it....
