To ensure the warranty is intact, make sure that you fix any security alarm with the authorised Naza Auto Solution supplier only. The key already comes with built-in immobilizer. A brake lock could be helpful and wise too! Feel free to PM me for prices, both alarm or brakelock, if you are keen. Cheers.

Ya la brother. So fast 10,000km already. It seem like u just bought the car from me only yesterday.

Even though after the Cerato launching many people are still buying Forte. It is still the best value for money. U make the right choice!

can anyone tell me how long does the 1k checkup take? I'm wondering whether I have to leave the car at the SC or if I can just sit around and wait for it to finish?
*
Time needed will depend when u send yr car. If it is Saturday it will take much longer. Call the SC and they will be able to tell how long it will take on that particular day. All the numbers are on the last few pages of your service book. Check it out! thumbup.gif

Got my 1.6sx clear white from motorman last week. Recommended seller and will definitely look for him if I were to buy any kia again. (Not in the foreseeable future though)

After driving bout one week, I notice slight pulling to the left. Very slight for me and is ignorable.

But, I have a very bad rattling noise from dashboard. I could not even cover it up by turning the volume of the radio. It is very very bad. I have listen carefully and the noise is coming from somewhere between the clock and the instrument cluster. Other members who also facing dashboard rattling noise, is it the same place?

Do u guy have any DIY solution or is sending to SC the only solution. If must send to SC, any recomended one if I'm staying in klang. And how many days need to put the car there?

If the dashboard rattling problem can be solve. I would be a very very happy man. As the car is really great in my opinion. (I upgrade from saga blm) The car drive so much better than my blm. Just that the noise is killing me.

Oh, btw. TS , please add me to owner list. Thanks.

mine, same place has rattling noise since 2nd day, after that more and more on the dashboard near windscreen on the driver side, then driver side door panel, front passenger door panel, then recently rear left passenger door panel. if u send to sc, they will need u to leave the car there for 2-3 working days to fix it, somehow i read in fb, most cases the noise will come back after a while, depending your luck, some even worse that got more rattling from different place compare to before repair, and another thing may happen is they may scratch the dashboard when removing the dashboard, for my case, i just leave it, sometime got noise sometime no, making myself to get used to it

That's what I'm worried of. That's y I ask if there is any DIY solution. If there is a manual how to disassemble the dashboard, I wouldn't mind disassemble myself and eliminate the noise myself. I am a certified technician btw. Just that long time didn't repair any cars ady.

Maybe I'll try this weekend as I found a video on YouTube to remove the a/c vent. I'll remove that and start from there. Wish me luck. smile.gif

Guys, just to share some possibility of the rattling noise on dashboard. I'm driving a 2011 Kia Forte and has been having this rattling noise coming out from dashboard since early this year and seems couldn't locate the fault.

1. Remove the glove box compartment and check the air-cond cabin filter - negative
2. Remove air-cond vent (passenger side) - negative

Finally i manage to solved mine - guess where is the fault? It's from the front hood. Try to pry the top corner front hood (both side) and check if there is some metal knocking sound appear. It is because there is a slightly gap at the lock when u close your engine hood. It could be the rubber thingy on the latch wearing out. So i use electrical black duck tape to secure the hook. At last, rattling sound gone.

Not sure it works for you guys - but worth a try at least, it works for me. Cheers!

Did you know where to get OEM Kia spare parts?
As I need to get a new glove box. The latch opener spring broken today. Hopefully it doesn't cost me a bomb.

Also looking for the silver shining part (rear door behind driver) inside door handle as i accidently scratches it. Leave two deep scratch line mark.

Anyone?

Hi guys... i went to this kia SC in klang yesterday to fix my windscreen sensor thg that i posted before. The SC guy just glued it with double-sided tape. I wasnt happy with that so i went to Puchong 3S center, i asked the SC guy to check it. He said double-sided tape is ok. I asked both of them if double-sided tape ok, then why is the a clear opening on my windscreen tint at the top, both of them blank....never answer that and just said its ntg. I went to to these 2 SC as they were the closest to where i live.

Can you guys clarify this? Motorman & Buydirect. If your SC can rectify this problem ill drop in this Saturday.

That is actually your GPS module. Your tint is 3rd party, they worked around the module so they didnt have to take it out smile.gif I guess double sided tape is acceptable to me, as long as doesn't look too hideous smile.gif

Yes, the auto defogger sensor is "double-taped" onto the windscreen. But the SC should use a transparent type of double tape so that it is aesthetically nice and pleasing to the eye. If you need my SC to help you to tape it using this transparent double tape, do let me know and you can come to our SC.

Thank you
