Ok boss, just Googled for info. It seems that a change in the final stop had resulted in a major rethinking of the alignment in the southern corridor (passing by Taman Universiti Indah-Equine Park -16 Sierra instead of UPM-Uniten-Presint 14).

And some forumers are posting about the soil testing being conducted by MRT contractors in 16 Sierra and other places. Something is cooking!

This alignment looks better than earlier speculated alignment (through UPM & UNITEN). This alignment will cover much of populated area and will increase ridership figure

Yup. Much much better. Will be a real boost to properties located along the alignment.

Good news...Connaught/ALAMDAMAI/DAMAI PERDANA sure going up with two MRT in vicnity...Damai Perdana is Freehold only, if not mistaken.

Why our Subang Jaya LRT start 2 years early than MRT 1. But progress of MRT 1 so much faster ?

LRT does not follow project deliver partner concept..that why both timing and budget still lot lack thn MRT..

hear say from Ho C S son ( at one property launching event )said the alignment most likely go to uniten, ioi mall putrajaya due to less land aquisation ( cost less and construct faster ) need comparing if go to Tman University.

Had a go at the trains today armed with a TNG card.

Sentul-Bank Negara-Bandaraya-Masjid Jamek-KL Sentral-Bkt Bintang-KL Sentral-Sentul covering all KTM, LRT 1 & 2 & monorail.

Overall not bad but we can't change the weather here & most of the stations are either ground level & elevated. The hot humid weather contributes a little to the unpleasantness.

Can't wait for MRT1 & 2 to be completed.

Just like those selfish anti KIDeX protesters, i wonder how our nation going to progress when the minority protested at almost every new highway or lrt station proposed...and sad thing is local papers happily jumping to defend them as " victims"...how can few of them deny hundreds of thousands of rakyat rights?

I thought MRT should bring up values in the surrounding area? Why are people protesting? Those are residents protesting. What about those owners of commercial or industrial properties nearby? Surely, they would like MRT to cover the areas surrounding their properties right? Even for residential properties, I prefer MRT to cover the area that I stay rather than being left out. Am I missing something here?
