looks like the 1st phase ending in Serdang will be somewhere around Taman Universiti Indah area. Hopefully it can be extended to Equine Park area as I am vested there!

My take on possible loop extension

Sri Serdang - Equine Park - Putra Permai - Limkokwing - Putrajaya Sentral

Sri Serdang - UPM - IOI City Mall - Precinct 14 Putrajaya - Putrajaya Sentral
*
Option 1 seems more plausible. Higher population catchment

If MRT2 really goes to Cyberjaya, which route will be more probable?
From the Serdang spur line or from Putrajaya last stop?

Still possible. Read earlier posts on the lobbying done by stakeholders vested in CBJ.

not so. cyberjaya far better... got pork and boost. not so restricted. can have dog
putrajaya sibeh jialat. putrajaya can't even find dog food. only cat. is a real city for muslim. and it mean to fail.

invest in cyber and never at putrajaya. now ciberjialat for a while only. long run still better than putratakjaya.

Mind to share the source? Thx

Yup, please share the source.
Or is this just based on other unconfirmed sources posted before? Looks similar with one version if those unconfirmed source.

One my friend working in IOI group and site visit already contacted at their 16 Sierra township.

I guess they are conducting soil study? Anyway, will be great news for Puchong South if this materializes into the alignment of MRT2.

Got this snapshot of the latest alignment of KVMRT 2 from somewhere.
Latest alignment for KVMRT 2 at the southern part now is to branch off to Equine Park towards 16 Sierra to Putrajaya?

Can anyone confirm this?

mine guess HOCHINSOON Research 2015 Jan update.

Spot on.
Previously, the alignment shown in his map is different from this.

Looks like the government prefers the alignment to pass through highly populated Equine Park/Bandar Putra Permai area before it terminates in Putrajaya.

Already knew this alignment long time ago.

Even klcc one is at "klcc east". Mentioned on ptlm before.
*
Taikor. I knew this is part of your wish list as posted in PTLM before. But the thing is, the 'official' version of the speculated line has always been directly to Putrajaya via UPM.

Yes correct. But as of not too long ago, they have decided to put Putrajaya Sentral (which is on the other side of Presint 14) as last stop, hence this has become the unofficial last stop.
*
Ok boss, just Googled for info. It seems that a change in the final stop had resulted in a major rethinking of the alignment in the southern corridor (passing by Taman Universiti Indah-Equine Park -16 Sierra instead of UPM-Uniten-Presint 14).

And some forumers are posting about the soil testing being conducted by MRT contractors in 16 Sierra and other places. Something is cooking!

Mrt corp have provide some info abt mrt 2 in their website
http://www.mymrt.com.my/new/en/sungai-bulo...ajaya-line/home

This alignment looks better than earlier speculated alignment (through UPM & UNITEN). This alignment will cover much of populated area and will increase ridership figure
*
Yup. Much much better. Will be a real boost to properties located along the alignment.

my gut feeling...it will redirect from TRX to Sg besi, kuchai lama, Bkt Jalil, across technology park following maju expressway towards UPM and Putrajaya.....
*
Bearing in mind that final stop is Putrajaya Sentral, I strongly believe that the alignment at the southern end of this alignment will stay status quo. Losers will be Pandan and some areas in Cheras I believe.

Boss, it appears that the northern and southern portions of MRT2 remain intact, barring some changes from TRX to Mines?

Already read, but only spur line been mentioned. other than that, they didn't touch anything related to Selayang. Seem like the chance of building a new depot at Selayang is unlikely happend. What PM said and what MRT Corp. do is different things. biggrin.gif

Supposed to public display end of this month.

But I think it has been postponed due to major change in alignment.
*
A big mystery on the new alignment now that the government want it to pass Bandar Malaysia.

The Edge reported that the new alignment passes Chan Sow Lin area, then going to Bandar Malaysia... I guess most of the changes is in the middle part of the alignment only.

How is the route after Bukit Jalil?

Equine Park - Cyberjaya - Putrajaya?

I believe the 3 places you mentioned are covered.
Unlikely the southern tip of the alignment to change as last stop still remains in Putrajaya Sentral.
