I hope Quest is able to mirror the display to external screen such as a TV/monitor and not just cast to mobile phone like Oculus Go

Otherwise it's gonna be a very isolated experience.

Also another possible problem with Quest is, we can only play games from Oculus Store, not steam. Oculus store games are sold in USD so it can be a bit pricey.

The game will last kids for quite a long time. But the best part is building it with your kids and etc. Seems to be what people like the most rather than playing it.

But yeah no kids review, can't really tell laugh.gif

can it cast to TV? since most smart tv today have built-in wireless cast should be no problem to support it

btw here is a clip show Oculus CTO John Carmack livestreaming to Facebook live playing Beat Saber on a Oculus Quest

2m passive hdmi and usb3 cables?

I tried UGREEN 5m active usb3, UGREEN 5M passive hdmi cable, and UGREEN active hdmi repeater and doesn't work laugh.gif too greedy!

Usb works but not hdmi. Tried random 2m hdmi cable same problem. Either
1) my 2060 not enough juice to power up extended cables
2) ugreen 5m is too aggressive
3) random brand 2m cable useless

Always have issue with the relatively short cable length during my livestream. Few times almost pokai from tripping doh.gif

May I know what graphic cards are you running? is it 6 pin or 8 pin or 2x 6pin power? hmm.gif I'm still thinking if I should get one 2m HDMI gold plated cable just to complete the testing, but if the root cause is #1 (graphics card underpower) then gg sweat.gif
