Planning to get myself into VR games, but thinking between the HTC Vive and oculus rift.

Is vive worth the extra buck for laser sensors, compatibility for accessories upgrade, and local warranty?

Anyone here using gunstock for VR? Seems like quite some options out there but very pricey

Looking at mamutvr / protube / magtube but that price can buy additional touch sensor set already 😅

2m passive hdmi and usb3 cables?

I tried UGREEN 5m active usb3, UGREEN 5M passive hdmi cable, and UGREEN active hdmi repeater and doesn't work too greedy!

Usb works but not hdmi. Tried random 2m hdmi cable same problem. Either
1) my 2060 not enough juice to power up extended cables
2) ugreen 5m is too aggressive
3) random brand 2m cable useless

Always have issue with the relatively short cable length during my livestream. Few times almost pokai from tripping

May I know what graphic cards are you running? is it 6 pin or 8 pin or 2x 6pin power? I'm still thinking if I should get one 2m HDMI gold plated cable just to complete the testing, but if the root cause is #1 (graphics card underpower) then gg

About three months into VR after getting a Rift on early Feb.

Very happy that I onboarded the train, only downside is the random issues with Rift's tracking sometime where tracking is lost when i swing too fast - which I really hate and wished that Valve Index was announced 3 months earlier....
