Don't forget to add a Virtusphere

Virtusphere

It costs US$ 80,000.

I think we very much prefer to stick to affordable VR gadgets here. This is also one of the main reason why the Oculus Rift gets so much hype.

Also, I've decided to pull myself from backing Omni. It's lacking assurance that it can walk backwards well.

at first I was dissapointed, I expected much from it. I did not expect to see any black outlines but behold there it is. I let others who was not exposed much to any rift related news to demo the hmd and their reaction was more or less positive. also, after a few days playing with the rift it really did grew on me and I'm content with it's current built, being a dev kit and all. I now realised the potential of the consumer rift.

I've also warmed up to it. I've been using it to play half life 2 with the razer hydra. I'm still not impressed strangely enough, lol. I am hard to please.

I decided to give this anti screen-door mod a try.

http://www.mtbs3d.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=140&t=18127

It's working great! The 3M's Privacy screens are bloody expensive though, so I took a risk and bought it from this guy instead. Turns out, they're the same product!

While it removes the screen-door effect and makes the 3D better, it does make the low resolution of the Rift more apparent, since the screen door effect is gone, ha. sweat.gif

Sony HMZ-T3 hands on, but it is roughly USD2000
In contrast, HMZ-T2 is only roughly USD800

I have pledged the STEM system on kickstarter but decide to withdraw it.
I am on the early backer list, USD 199 for 3 packs + 2 controller + 1 base
It has only limited slots

Anyone interested to take over?
How? You need a fast hand.
I cancel my pledge, and you faster pledge it.

Hi, really excellent thread here. Good to see some VR enthusiast Ihere in M'sia. I'm strongly considering buying the Rift this month. Any tips or guides from experts here? Thanks!

wow, nice gadgets..
boss you sell drugs?

how much for the T3-Wireless model?

anyway, too bad Hmz-T3 is still 720p per eye only.
I know it has not much difference to the naked eye, but it is a shame that they are still stucked at 720p since 1st generation (already 2 years).
They (Sony) could definitely do better than this!
