Hey guys, just received my HTC Vive Taiwan version yesterday. Need your confirmation that is the power adapters from Taiwan can be used in Malaysia directly?
I have tried charging both wands with no problem. Haven't try the Vive yet cause still looking for tripod to host the base station, LOL.

I bought my from Lazada. They handle everything including tax and shipping all in at RM4368.

Received mine a few days ago but still don't have time to set it up and test yet due to lacking of stand to host the base sad.gif. Fortunately able to received the 1450mm camera stands today. Hopefully have time to set it up and testing it in coming Sunday.

Actually the delivery is quit fast, around 10days. The item is shipped from HK. Just now tried out the Fruit Ninja, it's really good. Control are sharp and accurate to mm. Silky smooth with no lag at all. The setup is very simple, just plug and play with no hassle or detection/pairing issue.
So far I have bought 22 titles from Steam and only managed to try out Fruit ninja due to time constrain.
Will try out Revive to play Oculus game later. The good thing is without wearing my spectacle, I can see quit clear the image in VR. Didn't notice any so called god ray but do notice some artifact cause by the lens during start up. But once in the game, I couldn't observe any problem at all.
Overall, it is better than my Samsung GearVR. Very happy with the purchase.

hahahaha nice to see some fellow vr joining the fun... seem like people just cant wait..even myself also got it like last 2-3 month if not mistaken and been enjoying since then.. i guess HTC vive supposed to be coming to malaysia on Oct but until today no words.. glad didn't wait for it..seem like their country manager credibility just went down the drain..make announcement but could not met the dateline..
anyhow mine is U.s version so far no issue on directly connect to power supply. and also running on tripod 1.5 meter 3meter x 5meter play area.

the only set back for me is waiting a full fledged triple A games from some good developer to surface out for HTC vive as all this tech demo and kiddies game is a bit boring already hahaha.

anyhow welcome aboard mate. Njoy it.

Rift.

If you can get Revive running, you can try your luck there.

You can use Revive (they just updated to new version) to play Oculus Store game. Here is the game compatible with Revive https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/wiki/Compatibility-list
A few days ago, I logon to my Oculus Store and to my surprise that I am entitled to 2 free game, Luck's Tale (no idea when I purchased it if any) and Anshar War2 (bought long time ago for my GearVR) thumbup.gif
Now eyeing on Chronos and Edge of Nowhere but the price is a bit too steep. Will wait a little longer.
Good news is one of my favorite title is coming out this month in Vive, Eve Valkyrie thumbsup.gif

Tried htc vive today at my friend house, it is not as i expected.
That graphic in vr kinda bad ( looks like PlayStation one generation graphic) compare to what we see in monitor.
I know it wont as good as what we see in monitor but didnt expect so much different. Not sure whether the gpu not strong enough or not, forgot to ask. It is about the same quality when i try vr using trinusvr ,my phone and google cardboard. Any sifu can clarify? IT idiot here.
