So happy tat I am able to get my hand on the tin can n not the la collection... first thing tat came onto my mind when I spray it, men facial product vibe... Very clean very aromatic... No citrus, no floral, not sweet,ie linear... keep smelling my hand... Like eau sauvage, pour monsieur, RG scream confidence gentleman, must dress up to fit it...

As a very delighted pdb user, I can say it is one of the best from polo since romance silver.

Pdb opening with very nice mango smell then follow with pepper n nutmeg. The coffee is light but blend with other notes well to create mango nutmeg single-shot espresso.... However it is not a gourmand n doesnt make u think tat u r in starbucks

It is very versatile, not offensive, very safe... Subtle projection, last 4hrs on my skin...

Have you tried going to Perfume Gallery at One Utama? I think that's the best place, I don't trust online perfume sellers nowadays.
Most of them claim it to be original or from USA etc, but still I don't trust them unless they are well established like Frangrancenet or Luxury Perfume. Else I rather spend extra knowing that it's 100% original, than to risk 50% chances from online sellers. Online sellers aren't cheap too, sometimes you'll find retails selling cheaper than them. 

the satu utama Chanel mini boutique no longer sells the les exclusifs. The place where the les exclusifs used to be now displays the allure homme range.

Went to test few les exclusif range. 1 thing caught my attention : chanel sycomore = lalique encre noire

Smelt something which caught my attention........... Watermelons !!! Awesome smell, but i do not know what fragrance it is. Its very strong, the whole lift is filled with the smooth, sensual watermelon smell.

Not sure if its the lad or the lady wearing as the smell seems unisex. Either one can wear it or both of them are wearing it.

What i know is the smell is friggin awesome, and strong enough to fill the whole lift. Definitely smells like a sweet watermelon. A very pleasant smell.

Any idea on what it may be ?

After a few times wearing Amouage Epic, i finally try back my cdg... this time i try spray it like 6" away from my chest... i was blown away in a very positive way.. hey why i didnt get this vibe before....

the clove is very distinct from the opening then the honey, sandalwood, cinnamon come out to join the party.. yum very depth 1 spray last whole day scent.. under sunny day, its strength multiply.... will use it more often edi

My next to get list after my fav rive gauche will be egoiste by chanel... According to Jacques Polge, this is his best ever and Basenotes have rave reviews on this guy..

egoiste isnt for everyone. some may find it too pungent. but it is a good scent. I have it and it is one of my faves. My advice is to test it out before buying.

the scent is surprisingly similiar to body shop's sandalwood & ginger home fragrance oil.

i know... it is strong it scream attention initially it has ko me few months back, but after sniffing alot of bottles, and try to get used to lots of notes, well i am sucks in tat still.. lol my current line up really like on each end of the scale: eau sauvage, prada amber ph, rive gauche, eau des bavx, amouage epic, cdg, dhi.. just no room for aquatic and gourmand

go to essential oil counter and sniff every available bottle. it helps in learning how to identify the notes properly. That's what I did

Have just recently developed an interest in fragrances - just purchased Acqua di Gio some time ago for day-to-day use, and more recently Chanel's Allure Homme Edition Blanche and Platinum Egoiste for more special occasions.
Would like to add a few more to my collection (e.g. would love to get my hands on Dior's Fahrenheit and a couple more), but would not be able to afford it at the current price range at departmental stores. Any idea where I can get original fragrances at discounted prices from reliable suppliers?

Also, any idea where I can test niche fragrances (e.g. Creed) around KL? Have read reviews on Green Irish Tweed/Aventus/Millesime Imperial etc. saying they're fantastic and has gotten me curious.

Is L'eau d'Issey PH Summer 2013 available in Malaysia yet? Interesting note listing with kiwi and pineapple

I tested this in the airport. I prefer this to the original. The kiwi is very smooth as compared to the yuzu which could be quite harsh on the nose. Also the summer edition is on the frutty side while the original is more floral. Also the summer edition projects less but it is not an issue as it is not really pricy so can be trigger happy.

BTW I love GPH II ... it is my current fav scent

I was at lcct few days ago but no luck finding it. I too found that the original is a bit harsh and too floral to my liking. Can't wait to test out the new summer flanker.

Just tested the L'eau d'Issey Summer 2013 and bought it on the spot since they're having promotion (RM299 for 2 bottles - Men & Women). It is a softer, smoother and fruitier version of the original. I like it better as I generally prefer subtle scent.
