Out of the ones I've tried, Chrome Legend by Azzaro (Aquatic) with 6-8hrs longevity and good projection. Prada Amber PH (Fougere) with 8-10hrs longevity and moderate projection. Go for original formulation, the one with smaller PRADA on the bottle. A*Men by Thierry Mugler (Gourmand) with 6-8hrs longevity and good projection. I only own designer frags. Frags don't usually last on me so I usually do 6-8 sprays on exposed skin with first spray to the chest.

QUOTE(poweredbydiscuz @ Jun 5 2013, 10:51 PM) Just tested the L'eau d'Issey Summer 2013 and bought it on the spot since they're having promotion (RM299 for 2 bottles - Men & Women). It is a softer, smoother and fruitier version of the original. I like it better as I generally prefer subtle scent. I see Dior Homme/Sport, Gucci PH II, Bvlgari Sior/PH and D&G The One. Nice collection there ![]() This post has been edited by t0n3: Jun 5 2013, 11:30 PM |

QUOTE(kelthuzad @ Jun 6 2013, 03:30 AM) after tested this,i really have to get this.it smells of quality, even the bottle is nice, magnetic cap.the opening is a bit strong, but then the sweetness comes in,i do get a bit of root beer smell here,if thats how myrrh smells like,i love it.this really smells of quality juice.if u like Encre Noire,u will like this as well.i tested this on the back of my palm and it's there the whole day.but this isnt for the youngsters, this is for da man. I sampled it recently but I thought it was a bit dry for my taste. Maybe due to its bitter myrrh? However I do love sweet myrrh in Prada Amber Intense. Anyway, I would like to give it a try again since I only sampled it on paper. Please PM me price for 5ml decant plus shipping to Sarawak. Thanks.if any one wants this can pm me,can get a good price for u.will do a promo decant for u guys as well, super cheap [attachmentid=3473653] |

I purchased it recently for nostalgic purposes. I got it as a xmas gift in the late 90's and it was my first perfume. I don't use it much but I do think it's one of the best compared to their recent releases. This post has been edited by t0n3: Jun 6 2013, 09:43 AM |

SOTD - Roccobarocco Sliver Jeans
This was my first perfume that I purchased and was my signature scent from late 90s to 2000 until I finished my bottle. I couldn't find it anymore at airport duty free so I stopped wearing perfume. Only until a couple of years ago I found out that it smells like Davidoff Cool Water and purchased it as substitute. I eventually found Sliver Jeans online and got myself one. |

SOTD - Ferrari Essence Oud
Got it as decant from kelthuzad yesterday. Been curious to find out how oud smells like and why it gets so hyped up in middle eastern countries. I recently had the opportunity to sniff out Dior Fahrenheit Absolute, YSL M7 Oud Absolu and Versace Oud Noir but I still wasn't able to identify it. I detected two dominant notes in this Essence Oud, rose and another one which I'm not familiar with. I'm waiting for my decants of Fahrenheit Absolute and Oud Absolu from Astroboy22 to better compare and identify. |

QUOTE(wazzapp @ Jun 8 2013, 03:24 PM) Out with chanel bleu today.. Urghhh so boring.. Somehow annoyed my nose.. Same what starwalker did to me... Actually BdC is one of my favourites among my other fresh scents. Half of the juice is already gone from my 100ml bottle that I purchased last year. I even pre-ordered its shower gel last month from Parkson and still waiting for it.I think Starwalker smells OK but very subtle . It smells a bit like women Clinique Happy to me, correct me if I'm wrong |

QUOTE(edwardleong @ Jun 9 2013, 09:05 AM) Bdc is not bad, solid n safe release from Chanel.. I like it but sold.it off coz compare to earlier releases from jacque polge, I understand y alot ppl from basenote say it lacks flair, boring... Pour monsieur, pm concentre, egoiste, antaeus, platinum egoiste etc.. I do understand that people have high expectation from this house. Now they don't take chances. Most of their recent releases (non exclusif lines) are mass appealing. It's on the weaker side compared to other high end designers like Dior and Guerlian. Having said that I own and love another one from Chanel, which is AHEB. I personally think it's a masterpiece although projection and longevity are weak on my skin. |

QUOTE(edwardleong @ Jun 9 2013, 02:06 PM) Hmm I dont really know much about Guerlain, however dior still manage to come out with stunning beauty such at dior homme cologne and eau sauvage parfum... Dior is currently my most favorite designer house. I have the entire Dior Homme flankers except for cologne version. I even have backup bottles of Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense. That is how much I used to love them. I have yet to sample Dior Fahrenheit Absolute and get decant of Eau Sauvage Parfum to sample. I recently sniffed Eau Sauvage original and thought it was OK. I might get that one if I like the parfum to complete my collection.as for chanel, EB and allure homme sport cologne are very nice citrus in the sea of mass citrus sport market nowdays... I really like their tonka bomb EE, Second favorite designer house is PRADA. I love their Amber and especially Amber Intense. Third one is Guerlain. I absolutely love their LIDGE, which I purchased recently. I have yet to give it a full wearing. This might replace my current "signature scent", which is PRADA Amber Intense. My wife says OK for Amber Intense but dislikes LIDGE. This post has been edited by t0n3: Jun 9 2013, 03:53 PM |

QUOTE(edwardleong @ Jun 9 2013, 04:42 PM) Nice choices u have there bro :-) I cant take dior homme but I love dior homme intense so much... Eau sauvage is the culprit that makes me turn off with all the modern citrus, sport, aquatics... Well pour monsieur do play some part too lol.... You and the others have exquisite taste. I sniffed Chanel classics before but I think my nose are not ready to appreciate them yet.Dior, chanel, and prada for me are the best designers around... Rive gauche I felt is more masculine version of prada, and paphi is divine, however price is a problem for me... PRADA Amber Intense is selling at RM350 for a 100ml bottle at my local Metrojaya store and they only have 100ml bottle in stock. Was searching for it for sometimes. Eraman, Parkson and Singapore duty free don't carry them so I ended up getting 50ml bottle from strawberrysnet.com for RM256. Not cheap. I don't usually pay retail price for fragrances but I really love it I had to get it. I find fragrance prices at our duty free and Singapore's are no cheaper than online's. I recently traveled to UK and had flight transit in Dubai. Dubai duty free's Chanel fragrances are more expensive than Parkson's. However, London's duty free is cheaper. I got my Guerlain LIDGE (75ml) at 43GBP and V&R Spicebomb (50ml) at 37GBP. The exchange rate was RM4.71. Another cheaper place to shop for fragrances (other than online) are Lucky Plaza and Beauty Language (like sasa) in Singapore. However, they only carry popular designers. I remember I got a 212 tester from Beauty Language for RM150 (converted). This post has been edited by t0n3: Jun 9 2013, 08:19 PM |
