QUOTE(edwardleong @ May 15 2013, 07:50 AM) Klcc n Satu Utama, as I was told by the pretty sales lady when I get my pour monsieur last month... Price range of le esclusive right smack into the range of Amouage n Bond no9 the satu utama Chanel mini boutique no longer sells the les exclusifs. The place where the les exclusifs used to be now displays the allure homme range.

QUOTE(edwardleong @ May 25 2013, 11:48 PM) After a few times wearing Amouage Epic, i finally try back my cdg... this time i try spray it like 6" away from my chest... i was blown away in a very positive way.. hey why i didnt get this vibe before.... the clove is very distinct from the opening then the honey, sandalwood, cinnamon come out to join the party.. yum very depth 1 spray last whole day scent.. under sunny day, its strength multiply.... will use it more often edi My next to get list after my fav rive gauche will be egoiste by chanel... According to Jacques Polge, this is his best ever and Basenotes have rave reviews on this guy.. egoiste isnt for everyone. some may find it too pungent. but it is a good scent. I have it and it is one of my faves. My advice is to test it out before buying. the scent is surprisingly similiar to body shop's sandalwood & ginger home fragrance oil.

QUOTE(edwardleong @ May 26 2013, 12:05 AM) i know... it is strong it scream attention initially it has ko me few months back, but after sniffing alot of bottles, and try to get used to lots of notes, well i am sucks in tat still.. lol my current line up really like on each end of the scale: eau sauvage, prada amber ph, rive gauche, eau des bavx, amouage epic, cdg, dhi.. just no room for aquatic and gourmand go to essential oil counter and sniff every available bottle. it helps in learning how to identify the notes properly. That's what I did

QUOTE(t0n3 @ Jun 9 2013, 03:43 PM) Dior is currently my most favorite designer house. I have the entire Dior Homme flankers except for cologne version. I even have backup bottles of Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense. That is how much I used to love them. I have yet to sample Dior Fahrenheit Absolute and get decant of Eau Sauvage Parfum to sample. I recently sniffed Eau Sauvage original and thought it was OK. I might get that one if I like the parfum to complete my collection. Second favorite designer house is PRADA. I love their Amber and especially Amber Intense. Third one is Guerlain. I absolutely love their LIDGE, which I purchased recently. I have yet to give it a full wearing. This might replace my current "signature scent", which is PRADA Amber Intense. My wife says OK for Amber Intense but dislikes LIDGE. I am a huge fan of Guerlain. I have about 10+ of their scents. LIDGE is just the tip of the iceberg. Mitsouko, Jicky, L'Heure Bleue, Shalimar, Habit Rouge, Heritage, Mouchoir de Monsieur, Coriolan/ L'ame du heroes are all masterpieces that will blow your mind off. Give it a try In malaysia we only have habit rouge, shalimar, mitsouko and their less stellar modern offerings. It's the older lines that are amazing. Jicky is available as a tester at the Parksons KLCC counter

QUOTE(kelthuzad @ Jul 5 2013, 11:21 PM) yea i am referring to pure parfum for the price.the edt and eau extreme is just my view i think u should make your own WTS thread, cause if u post it here,i can only say your price is too expensive,100ml can get for rm140 only please do PM me if you find it again im looking for the parfum. Eau Savauge Parfum is actually EDP, not Pure Parfum.

QUOTE(t0n3 @ Jul 21 2013, 09:44 AM) Still waiting for my Ambre Sultan. Actually blind bought this based reviews that it might be "the one" for me. Sprayed both PAPHI and TFN on my wrists recently. Both smelled very similar but TFN was stronger and lasted longer too. I wanna get my nose on Aventus as well as it probably is the most hyped up frag from this house. My SOTD is Pure Leather. Trying this today. One of bro Astroboy22 favorites. I get very strong leather note from this. Amber sultan? Do you love the scent of oregano? because AS starts off by shoving oregano up your nose before it goes down to benzoin.

QUOTE(edwardleong @ Jul 22 2013, 12:35 PM) Ic, dunno... I prefer eau sauvage over habit rouge... Well GV has been thru numerous time reformulation jor... SOTD - YSL Rive Gauche The current HR is more sparkling at the topnotes compared to the prev formulation and less heavy on leather. the current form of GV is less 'icy' and more warm. The one in the ribbed bottle has a cool vibe while the latest one whose bottle is the HR bottle has a warm vibe to it. I own both versions. guerlain homme l'eau is nice and unique, and one of my faves as well. I love shalimar and mitsouko also. I have both EDP and EDT of mitsy and i wear it often too

QUOTE(poweredbydiscuz @ Jul 22 2013, 01:11 PM) Hi bro any recommendation on where to get Guerlain perfumes at good price? Strawberrynet. Or from 2nd hand. 80% of my collection is 2nd hand anyway. But since Guerlain isnt big in malaysia, they have a lot of scents that you can get online. Habit Rouge is super cheap online and in sg compared to kl, almost half price.

QUOTE(t0n3 @ Jul 22 2013, 01:16 PM) I don't mind in your face spices. How's the projection and longevity of AS on your skin? My SOTD = NRFH. Sampled this from a vial before and it had strong projection and good longevity but mine just has moderate projection and longevity. Still smells the same. I don't like the sprayer. Doesn't spray a lot of juice. Maybe I should try to double my sprays and see if projection gets better. Projection on wrist is rather strong, but on a full wearings the projection is so-so. EDPs are closer to the skin in general

QUOTE(akib_mullen @ Jul 22 2013, 01:21 PM) which one habit rouge? got several right? There's one habit rouge but different formulations over the decades. The latest one is what is sold in counters and online stores worldwide. Vintage will be expensive and not much of a point unless you nose is ultra sensitive.
