QUOTE(kira-kun @ Sep 5 2013, 09:25 PM) Hey question, I have done everything I believe on my M17X R3 but I still get blue screen from running aa certain game. What are the chances that it could be a faulty motherboard and gpu? Mind you this laptop is about or close to 2 years old only... Just that this game it blue screens need an expert to answer that... but...... if you are looking for GPU upgrade... please click my signature... hehehehe... thank you....

Hello. I bought my Alienware 17 two weeks ago I have a question. My GTX770M's driver is currently 311.48. Tried updating to the official release of 320.48 but the installer couldn't continue because it is unable to find the compatible GPU Should I update to the latest beta driver (326.80) ? Will there be any problems if I do so ? Thanks.

Just that this game it blue screens I think you have the dump files and can use bluescreenview get info from there. At first glance, it sounds like cpu/gpu overheating. If you havent cleaned the fans, the heatsinks, and replace thermal pastes, you might wanna do that first. 2 years without cleaning will likely result in the conditions you described.

Download drivers from the Dell website. They will update it when it's fit for use. Just key in your service tag number and your device and all it's drivers will be there.

burn, baby, burn@!although some sources said this will not have much impact to the market (that factory was said to be responsible for packaging only, not production), but suppliers like Samsung have started to act up (temporarily stop providing dram and nand pricing. maybe they are making adjustments now) :/

I'm planning to get gaming laptop soon. I have some question for you guys. For the GTX780m, can it run really game at high setting? most game?
Is the alien ware notebook upgradable? where can i get the 18 inch version, (with GTX780m). i can't find it on the dell malaysia website.
