It's a known problem with certain brands of 3rd party cables. Just get the official one and you should be OK.

I called MBf this morning and they mentioned that this is the latest model: LA37S81BX (I think this is the one from the Star newspaper today) and apparently not out in the market yet! Could this be the Bordeaux Plus series which is on the Samsung's website?

I'm very interested to get one as well since my 10 year old 29" is now starting to give me problem.

Any idea if this is a good buy?

Looks like the 37" S8 is exclusive to this MBF deal. I'm still considering if i should get this to replace my 32" R7 which is IMO a real piece of $hit.

Im using Samsung Lcd Monitor 19inch Widescreen (model 931bw) with xbox 360 and the picture quality is quite stunning imo. And my lcd support 720p.

I did some research on my own and its definitely not the Bordeaux Plus series, that would be the R81 series.

Will do some hard thinking abt it, since can get it thru MBf @ 3900 rather than the usual 5499 price tag... i think the price IS very near damn worth it, since we can only get decent LCDTV 32" around that kinda price at the moment.

We ARE talking abt a 37" with 7000:1 contrast ratio @ 3900... Tempting? whistling.gif

EDIT: Cant find any decent reviews at the moment sad.gif

Hello all,

Erm i got a question here it might sound silly (prolly thats why i do not wanna star a new thread about this?) but any help would be greatly appreciated. Well, instead of playing split screens in some racing or shooting games, can i actually have 2 screens (via VGA) with a single console? If possible, how?

Thank you.

Try with original cable, if you using PC VGA to test no double image mean should be your cable wink.gif

not possible. there are currently no console that can have 2 screen except PS3, wait... that's what SONY said on E3 2005 when MS shows XB360. tongue.gif

3900 is for MBf cardholders price. Non-member is 4300. I will call em up and go TBM later to have a look at the 32" and 40" first whistling.gif

Update: Just called em. 4300 is for NEW CARDHOLDER (meaning those who sign up just to enjoy this promo tongue.gif ) existing cardmembers enjoy 3900 as a sign of appreciation, haha ... Go to TBM later tonite...
