Just receive my Dell 22" LCD and I'm using it post this message. Everything look so clear and nice and damn... 22" already seem very huge for a monitor! I've been using 15" all the while.

No dead/stuck pixel so far and there is some slight backlight leaking problem, but I guess I can live with it. Will probably get my Xbox 360 in these two weeks, will let u guys know how's the quality....

Have you managed to connect your Xbox 360 to your new monitor yet? At what resolution did you use in the settings? Did you get wide screen display on the monitor for the Xbox?

I am really interested in getting this monitor but I am concerned if it is compatible with Xbox. notworthy.gif

Appreciate your reply! Thanks!

Call them up and ask for discount! I bought mine a month ago for RM1239 and then one week later it dropped to RM999. I called them up and they credited me the difference! Give it a shot! flex.gif

I called MBf this morning and they mentioned that this is the latest model: LA37S81BX (I think this is the one from the Star newspaper today) and apparently not out in the market yet! Could this be the Bordeaux Plus series which is on the Samsung's website?

I'm very interested to get one as well since my 10 year old 29" is now starting to give me problem.

Any idea if this is a good buy?

Checked out Samsung LCD TV vs Sharp/Toshiba/Sony and clearly Samsung LCD's are way too bright and causes discomfort to the eyes. Saw a demo on Viva Pinata on the Samsung and it is very bright which can be a pain when watching under low light condition. Even the salesman said so.

At present the best LCD TV is Sharp Aquos as they are the fastest response time in the market right now. All non full HD Aquos has a 6ms response time compared to the others which are at 8ms. Full HD model is at 4ms compared to 8ms. Well, Sharp makes the LCD panels (world's largest producer, I think) and sells them to other brands. So I guess they will not give the best panels to their competitors.

Saw a Aquos 37" model selling for RM4999 (BX model) which is far better quality compared to Samsung, in my opinion. The BX model is already end of its life and a new PX model for 37" will be coming out in July. I have decided to pay a little more to get a better one and pass on this MBf card offer.

Go check it out for yourselves.

Just my 2 sen. hmm.gif
