Erm confusion. eMMC corruption problem has nothing to do with external sd card. S2 is alot safer than S3 and Note 2. As long as you dun do risky stuff like rooting and flashing it is safe. I would say all developer knows the risk of S2 so the problem is contained. S3/Note 2 is a totally different picture, even on stock rom, the phone can die tiba-tiba.

not too sure about that.

Because both use different processor. One is Exynos Octa while the other one use Snapdragon S600 with LTE. Buy BOTH will save you from taking choices tongue.gif

Go read the Xperia Z thread and you will find several funny, amusing stories about MAXIS LTE. Basically most of these support staffs are blur about LTE on Maxis and often give conflicting stories among themselves. This Maxis must need to educate them

My experience calling Maxis about LTE activation on my Xperia Z. First she told me LTE only available for iphone and Maxis sales phones only. And Xperia Z is not inside Maxis list. Than I said my phone detected LTE in Damansara area and shows very high download speeds ( exceeding 30000kbps)  - how is that possible than ? She put me on hold and came back and at least apologised , saying since my phone can detect LTE automatically , no need process to go through activation as long as I am using one of those new sim cards ( mine was 6 months old)

In summary :
As long as you are using the newer maxis sim card, LTE will be auto detected. Change your simcard if your LTE phones fail to detect
All LTE enabled phones ( on 1800, 2600 Mhz bands) can be supported
There is no extra charge using LTE ; your present data plan can still be used
"Screw" those Maxis support staff at 123 if they tell you otherwise as obviously they are ignorant

I understand all Maxis micro Simcard that was issued in the past 1 year is all LTE ready. If yours cannot detect LTE, just go and have it change to the latest version

Try it first..if you phone cannot scanned the LTE (provided that area have LTE coverage) then you need to get the new micro simcard from Maxis.

If can scan and lock then you're good to go with that cut micro simcard.

Actually you still use the same quota whether you're on LTE or 3G.
If you download 1GB of file on LTE..you still download 1GB of the same file on 3G. Only different is you download much faster when on LTE. biggrin.gif
