LTE not yet matured here in msia. octa-core sounds better at this stage. msia where got so many spots for LTE. u come my hometown in gambang pahang got 3G u should already be thankful liao. no need see H or H+. 3G already u should praise the lord liao.

No wonder what she told me was what I could find from the website. Except for the 4G service can be automatically upgraded from 3G if have supported device and within coverage area. I found that quite hard to believe without having to incur additional charges. That's why I came here to ask if anyone here can verify.

Go read the Xperia Z thread and you will find several funny, amusing stories about MAXIS LTE. Basically most of these support staffs are blur about LTE on Maxis and often give conflicting stories among themselves. This Maxis must need to educate them

My experience calling Maxis about LTE activation on my Xperia Z. First she told me LTE only available for iphone and Maxis sales phones only. And Xperia Z is not inside Maxis list. Than I said my phone detected LTE in Damansara area and shows very high download speeds ( exceeding 30000kbps)  - how is that possible than ? She put me on hold and came back and at least apologised , saying since my phone can detect LTE automatically , no need process to go through activation as long as I am using one of those new sim cards ( mine was 6 months old)

In summary :
As long as you are using the newer maxis sim card, LTE will be auto detected. Change your simcard if your LTE phones fail to detect
All LTE enabled phones ( on 1800, 2600 Mhz bands) can be supported
There is no extra charge using LTE ; your present data plan can still be used
"Screw" those Maxis support staff at 123 if they tell you otherwise as obviously they are ignorant

Yeah you better, S4 rom is 1.5gb  God knows how long will it take to download without lte... 

Edit: but since you are a OCD Rom flasher better get the device with more developer support. I dunno which one will get more roms.

eMMC is the embedded storage chip within the phone. Samsung had corruption problems which eventually bricks the phone on S3 and Note 2 exynos set.

mudkipryan94 Octa is the exynos set hence the risk is in this unit if samsung screw up again. LTE unit should be safe, which is why i gave u a 

But the eMMC chip in S4 is totally different model from S3 and Note 2 hence no one knows if any issue will arise. Its just pure speculation base on the manufacturer past issues.

no wonder when i put in a 32GB class10 SDcard my s2 is like crawling.
in the end i just moved all the movies and pictures to the card and put back all the apps on the phone memory.
