I have to agree with u that the audio quality is not that great...it might require long burning hours...the Wolfson Audio DAC is not really shine here?????

Wolfson chip but according to @supercurio, it is upsampled to 48khz instead of 44.1khz.

I failed to root my S4 trying to flash the prerooted rom XXUAMC6. The 1.5 GB rom after extracted became a 2.5 GB tar file !!
Odin in the PC hung quarter way while progressing. Did it twice and finally gave up
Phone was OK and boot back alright

I thought your phone must have the same version with the prerooted rom.

Mine is XXUAMDE

Yes I agree. Flashing i9000 for example, was easy.

But the xda post was specific. That's the only reason preventing me to root it immediately.

Logically, I would also think the Exynos OcatCore would have a better battery life vs Snapdragon
The Octacore can revert back to the lower 1.2 Ghz processor for most light tasks and only use the 1.6 Ghz chip for more intensive operations. The Snapdragon will always operate at 1.9 Ghz. Practically we don't really know yet as the efficiency of the chip will also affect it

Samsung Mobile CEO tell us both are similar in performance

Htc one won't operate at 1.9ghz all the time. Linux has cpu scaling. For idle or light operation, cpu can scale down to 100mhz.

It's just that A7 is a more efficient cpu for lower load operation. For that reason, I think this big.little config of exynos triumph over SD600 in terms of power consumption.
