Have you guys experienced squeaky brakes during light braking? I've had my front rotors changed during the 1k service 4 months back. Car has now done 8.5k mileage.

The noise is similar to a rusty gate being opened, but here it's continuous

Can we some how increase the key's signal so that we dont have to slot in the key to push start the engine?

Just to my preve ifam auto exec solid white.

Today's the 5th day driving mileage just reach 112km, pump a full tank, notice when braking, doesn't matter fast speed or at 60km/hr there's this duk duk sound! What's wrong?? Then the engine feels really sluggish, unresponsive like not moving, have to press the pedal deep to get response and the engine will whine and roar then the car will jerk a little then move.

Engine noise pretty loud n harsh. Izzit supposed to be like that??

Then the 3rd thing I realized is the fuel indicated, showing 13.8L/100km!! WTF?? I pumped full petrol when left 1 bar costs RM72 n then I changed the indicator to show the mileage. At first it shows 591km then when start moving, stop by few traffic lights, look at the indicator again and it kept on decreasing until almost 510km left! Is this normal?? Someone help!!

did you test drive your car during delivery at the dealer?
these problems exist at that time or just started happening?

1) about the car responsiveness maybe u should not compare between drive by cable and drive by wire.. maybe the ecu and tcu update will reduce the lag..
2) engine noise compare with which car.. nissan? toyota? .. i think preve engine noise is acceptable during slow driving.. but when highway driving i think the noise is ok...
3) preve estimated mileage... driving from highway cruising at 110kph (long journey) to traffic jam, the estimated mileage will reduce kaw kaw.. but when drive from traffic jam to highway cruising the estimated mileage will maintain (not reduce) or sometimes increase the estimated mileage until reach some point..

my advise dont forget to service at 1000km..

Yah, I test drive on highway the FC reduced by big margin, the brakes gentle braking ok, only if drive fast n brake got helicopter sound. Called up the sale guy he said its new brake so duk duk is normal? Bu doesn't happen on my myvi thou, car already latest map according to him so no need to update.

I'll continue to monitor but so far it's good, as compared to my myvi 1.5 se the myvi has an edge on acceleration 0-40 cos car lighter, the Toyota engine also more responsive . But preve handling, cornering n ride stability n comfort is way ahead. On bad road myvi very noisy over bumps n potholes but preve handles it brilliantly, same road i took everyday preve no sound! Only downside is properly the campro engine, maybe after 1k service better? Lets find out.

1. Braking Helicopter sound due to disc rotor - Change at SC
2. Sluggish - Remap ECU/TCU at SC
3. The meter is showing average per km, it won't stop calculating when the engine is running - Its normal


CFE is highway cruiser which u can hit 0.12cent/km at the highway but its is nightmare in heavy traffic jam which can up to 0.24cent/km. Go remap ECU/TCU, after that and it will feel it will totally become like driving other car, i am sure u will not ever touch your Myvi if not necessary after that. =D Hope this info will help.

Oh, My wrong, then the only braking helicopter can be solve at sc, meter mileage calculation still same, others need to ask Exe CVT member =D

So can u all tell me 1 litle for how many km?

Salesmen don't care about it, cuz not their car anyway, bring up to the Service Center and fix this issue.

So far, luckily proton SC not like them, maybe some dented bumper, scratches, crack windscreen, etc..

So, i just came back after 1k service...

I mentioned them of few problems and they couldnt solve any of those...

1. Brake sound (the mech verified that disc bengkok ady)
2. Gearbox console no light (is this normal for exec cvt ?)
3. Glove box very hard to close.

So the mech advised me to bring the car to COSE Shah Alam.

But i have one doubt, will they replace the disc or just skim it ?

How do i make sure that they change the disc ?

1. Better changed new disc brake, I changed mine...
2. True, no light, only cvt exec
3. Spray lubricants? i no issue on this..
