Hi guys, im using preve exec cvt...Just want to check whether this situation is normal or not...

My car rolls backward when it is in 'D' mode (at slope)...

The car should be moving forward or stationary if the slope is too steep right ?

I tried this few times, if i didnt press the accelerator, the car keep moving backwards...

hmm, the car grant shows 2013 manufacturing year. could be early Jan.

yes, the test drive also revealed:
- helicopter sound braking
- might need ecu/tcu update
- rusty exhaust bracket
- rear door no issue. just strange they defaulted the child lock to ON from factory.

for now, asked the SA to send back to COE to rectify the TCS indicator issue.
it was practically making beep-beep sound as i drive slowly around the block.

honestly, should have hill-assist.
program the braking module to hold on slopes until press accelerator pedal.

i guess they forgot malaysia (and the world) is not flat like a runway.

Just to my preve ifam auto exec solid white.

Today's the 5th day driving mileage just reach 112km, pump a full tank, notice when braking, doesn't matter fast speed or at 60km/hr there's this duk duk sound! What's wrong?? Then the engine feels really sluggish, unresponsive like not moving, have to press the pedal deep to get response and the engine will whine and roar then the car will jerk a little then move.

Engine noise pretty loud n harsh. Izzit supposed to be like that??

Then the 3rd thing I realized is the fuel indicated, showing 13.8L/100km!! WTF?? I pumped full petrol when left 1 bar costs RM72 n then I changed the indicator to show the mileage. At first it shows 591km then when start moving, stop by few traffic lights, look at the indicator again and it kept on decreasing until almost 510km left! Is this normal?? Someone help!!

Yah, I test drive on highway the FC reduced by big margin, the brakes gentle braking ok, only if drive fast n brake got helicopter sound. Called up the sale guy he said its new brake so duk duk is normal? Bu doesn't happen on my myvi thou, car already latest map according to him so no need to update.

I'll continue to monitor but so far it's good, as compared to my myvi 1.5 se the myvi has an edge on acceleration 0-40 cos car lighter, the Toyota engine also more responsive . But preve handling, cornering n ride stability n comfort is way ahead. On bad road myvi very noisy over bumps n potholes but preve handles it brilliantly, same road i took everyday preve no sound! Only downside is properly the campro engine, maybe after 1k service better? Lets find out.

Currently the mileage is only 400+ km

So, when I go for 1k service, do I need to remap the ECU?

and do you know how to update the map? I can't find any POI on it.

and is the USB port compatible to iphone 5? I try to connect my iphone5 or even iphone 4 on it, the media doesn't detect anything.

Bro, how u did 12cent/km? Auto cruise 90km/h?

The best I manage was 14.5cent/km... with some power drive along the highway     

I know if use lighter the response and FC will be better
but I try not to go too light 1st
this is me la not sure about others

just simple info since i just test a drive 1.6sx forte. for about 20minutes test drive.

Quality - Forte 1.6sx go check yourself
Safety - Forte 1.6sx
Spacious Cabin - Preve CFE
Comfort - Forte 1.6sx - No hearing Wind Noise, more comfort seat, more lowered
Steering/Handling - Preve CFE
Performance - Preve CFE, but i think its acceptable forte 1.6sx not too slow..much better than my last campro 1.6.so i think ok la..haha (maybe the 17inch rims affecting the performance too)
Stability taking Corner - Forte 1.6sx (kurang rasa buang) maybe if preve standard Anti Roll Bar not so good
Price - Preve CFE... BUT what u pay is what u get...get ready to make weekly or monthly visit to SC if ur car got like my car.haha
Forte 1.6sx- imo, nice car than preve, look more stunning, quality interior and exterior. dont know giving much problem or not?
Preve 1.6 CFE - ok ok car. but cheap less 12k - 13k than forte 1.6sx, but unlucky me my preve many little2 problem..so many little problem will make a big problem to me.

what i mean comfort in forte 1.6sx is the indoor noise is less than preve cfe.plus i dont hear dahsboard rattling like my preve..no doubt the tyre forte 1.6sx much noiser than preve cfe. which forte 1.6sx use 215/45/17.
change to much more comfort tyre then ur done.
