Hi guys, im using preve exec cvt...Just want to check whether this situation is normal or not...

My car rolls backward when it is in 'D' mode (at slope)...

The car should be moving forward or stationary if the slope is too steep right ?

I tried this few times, if i didnt press the accelerator, the car keep moving backwards...

CVT punch gearbox is like manual clutch gearbox as i know, just do it like manual car. Handbrake on then accelerate and release the handbrake when the car is moving forward. This info is from the member ard here =D hope this will help. And yes it is normal for CFE too  brows.gif

was travelling in the car yesterday with a friend, so when entering the car park, this situation happened...

So, i just came back after 1k service...

I mentioned them of few problems and they couldnt solve any of those...

1. Brake sound (the mech verified that disc bengkok ady)
2. Gearbox console no light (is this normal for exec cvt ?)
3. Glove box very hard to close.

So the mech advised me to bring the car to COSE Shah Alam.

But i have one doubt, will they replace the disc or just skim it ?

How do i make sure that they change the disc ?

Hi, thanks for the reply bro.

For the gearbox console light, do you mean that only premium version has it ?

I hope that COSE can replace the disc brake, but im not sure what to do if they only offer to skim...

Coz last time, for my myvi the SC only did skimming...

Already fixed appointment at COSE for tomorrow morning, will see what they can do smile.gif

Snap photo b4 and after change disc brake?

Actually what i wanted to ask is, how to make them to replace the disk brake rather than skimming ?

I wouldnt want them to skim because i just got the car last week, so that means the disc already warped before the car is given to me (manufacturing defect)...

The car plate for johor is jpg 7xxx now. Wondering is it possible to book jpj car plate now? Or must wait it release?
*
Not sure if it can be done in johor, but can be done for wilayah plate...

I got WYE plate when the running number was WYC, just have pay extra rm100 on top of normal rate...

RM210 + RM100...

Note : U can only book the number, but registration can only be done after the series is released/opened...

So, yesterday i went to COSE and mentioned few problems :
1 ) Noise while applying brake more than 90kmh - the mech confirmed that front disc is warped
Solution : Have to wait for 1 week for the parts to arrive

2) Glovebox hard to close
Solution : They adjusted it and now no problem

3) Exhaust rusty
Solution : They cleaned the rusty part and sprayed antirust

Overall, im happy with result and service given. Only drawback is I had to wait for almost 4 hours +

But I dont blame them, because lot of customer was waiting for routine service...i went there at 8.30, at that time itself already about 30 customer sent their vehicle for servicing...

In my opinion, Proton is improving but only some SC is having troubled Service Agent/mech which in return giving a bad name for Proton...

Hopefully no problem after this *touch wood* biggrin.gif

So far, the car is okay except for the braking sound...And after they change the disc brake, my car will be problem-free icon_rolleyes.gif
