anyone has the customer service number? would like to call them up for a bashing smile.gif i can't even load youtube properly.

*edit got the phone number 1800822000. just called them up and complain. speed became a little faster. at least i can youtube and facebook properly.

Is maxis also throttling youtube streaming? I can get max speed when downloading but youtube crawls below 3 Mbps. Where's my other 27Mbps? Like this I might cancel the contract early and go to lower speed unifi.

Been bloody freaking slow these days..
Downloads are slow, YouTube is slow, loading pictures is slow..
WTF is going on? Feel like switching to a different ISP if this shitty service continues....
Their service is getting shittier and shittier.
Are they throttling regular use too, huh??

Night time, speed slowdown to less than 1 mbps for normal surfing.

Does anyone face these throttling issues on business fiber dynamic ip? considering getting it for my house.

i know for a fact that theres no throttling on business fiber fixed ip in my office.

Called cs in th morning about slow speed for normal surfing at night but was conveniently pushed aside by asking me to call back at night when the speed is slow.
I don't understand why I can't lodge the slow speed report in the morning.

I have been noticing the internet speed has been very slow in Petaling Jaya area. Maxis 10Mbps but only got a 0.10 Mbps download.
My office is using Unifi and has the similar problem recently.
Any idea what is happening?

I have no problem with websurfing or downloading, day or night. I can get 28 - 29 Mbps down speed but when streaming 1080p youtube, have to let it buffer.

Actually for quite long already it has been so that from 8PM-12AM or 2AM (not sure) P2P/torrenting will be throttled to about 1Mbps or less. But these days, it seems like even regular browsing, specifically YouTube is throttled.

I will report back later tonight if regular browsing and YouTube is still slow for me. Subang Jaya area.

we need to make report after 8pm to 2am normal browsing and Games Ping like BF3 and DOTA are effected by the cap hour

Ping to singapore server during cap hour mostly 80-150ms
normal hour 30ms below

normal browsing speed also not stable during the cap hour

It's same cable from ur home to TM and than Maxis.. From there, they will use their own international line.
