my maxis tm modem optical indicator was in red light, and i cant access to internet. Anyone know how to fix this?

Just finish talking to Astro Staff (Tech/installation maybe)... And i did ask regarding public IP... And she kinda confirm it... "NO Public IP once you convert"...

And i just buy Synology NAS & No-IP service to do something with my fiber broadband... She kinda give me some time to rethink again to proceed or not...

Bug astro.. then they say maxis problem.. I straight say **** you i called ****ing maxis and they say ask astro for the public ip

they called me back say cannot switch

i told them straight the reason why i chose fibre coz of my cctv or else i stick to streamyx then i say if cannot then cancel lo..

5 minutes later they call back teaching me how to change to public ip

Don't need to bug astro, just call maxis and ask them for a public IP, they'll ask what is it for, just say security camera .. they'll do that there and then. At least this what I did the last time I asked for a public IP

Well that what maxis told me also... and astro on the other hand keep say they give what maxis give lol... will tell the installer to immediately process the public if can...

That only apply for Maxis fiber only since Astro IPTV the account belong to astro not maxis...

Once you are on Astro IPTV, u need to contact ASTRO... call Maxis no use one.. they will say it's ASTRO. then ASTRO say its Maxis.. but ASTRO was the one doing the instsallation.. guess its correct to bug ASTRO.

Calling astro now to get my public! Maxis told me it's already public but i can't configure it.. definitely ASTRO

just called ASTRO, they say public ip are not offered with Maxis IPTV package.. then bug that guy saying that nobody mentioned about this. Why would someone subscribe to them with all this limitations..

Anyways My maxis is working fine but my IPTV aint.. Seems to be TM Multicast problem and my mom is getting pissed as she cant watch her astro talent quest.. but after scolding them they follow up my case closely and called me quite often in a day which their service is kind of ok

I have service problem with Maxis which unresolved since 2011... 2012 cannot tahan de, me report SKMM and lawyer letter.... terus Maxis kecut telur, den give me 3 months free bill( no need pay bill for 3 months) and change me to postpaid for free

hahaha... should have ask for 6 month free bills... Maxis so rich, can give own employee RM 700 on Maxis bill.
