Nice overview of your experience so far  thumbup.gif

Which model of the EB do you have?
*
got myself exora bold standard, cocoa grey. at first I think the cocoa grey looks ugly, but since proton has changed the rear light's color to transparent instead of red, I fell in love with it tongue.gif

anyhow i think red (the casing color) rear light made the backside of all exora looks pretty hideous.. must be because the size of the rear light is pretty big.. proton must have noticed it that's why all new exora has transparent rear light.. nod.gif

Hi Proud EB CFE Owners...
Checking with you guys..has anyone of you already faced the aircond problem in your MPV? My aircond no more cool yesterday [after 1 year of usage sad.gif ]plus when i stop at a traffic light, there's a white smoke came out from my front hood...thought it was engine overheated but the temp.level is normal...

Aircond parts should be cover for warranty right? Which aircond shop to go??

Appreciate your sharing. Thanks.

If i remember correctly proton warranty is 3 years or 100,000km whichever come first. Take it back to authorised proton service centre.

here's my very brief comment about my EB.. used it for about a month..

(actually this is my PM reply to one of LYN member here.. but I think it would be good to just share it with others smile.gif)

my ride's so far so good. love the speed and handling of the EB. very surprised to see I can get 100km/h at only 2000rpm.. power of the turbo  rclxms.gif

used to drive my mom's toyota wish.. this EB feels much lighter and handling is much smoother

my complaint is the reverse sensor has gone abit crazy only after 2 weeks of using the EB.. most of the time now the reverse sensor will only beep only after it has come very very close with something at the back.. told this to the SC on my first service but it seems the mechanic there did nothing about it... 2ndly the back seat (left side), it was very hard to get it back up after I fold it down.. told it to the SC too.. when I got my car back from the SC, he said this problem is rectified.. luckily I checked it before driving back home.. it seems this, too, the proton mechanic didn't do anything about it.. when I asked he said he thought I was speaking about the middle seat  doh.gif  doh.gif ..  the service sheet the mechanic got from the receptionist whom I described this problem clearly writes the back seat..  doh.gif  and at first he (the mechanic) asked me to come another day because he got many more cars to be serviced and i would have to wait for 4,5 hours to get my car back. i said no, I want it to be fix now and I'm willing to wait.. because I know there're not many car to be serviced that day because the receptionist told me earlier.. and even if there're many other cars, they'd have to give my EB a priority first.. so he took my car back and got it fixed within 30 minutes  sweat.gif ... he said the spring in the seat was broke... sweat.gif  sweat.gif so he changed it (i think, because thank God currently the seat is ok)

anyway among other reason I choose EB is because I got a close friend who works in proton engineering department, and he himself is pretty much confident with this EB.. and he said many top boss in proton drive EB prime.. means they themselves are pretty confident with their own car  tongue.gif ... anyway he cautioned me of bad proton SC which he himself regret about it cause it brings down proton's image..  sweat.gif  and I just experienced it on my first service

hi,

i just did 40000km servis for EB CFE. Complained about jerking, the mechanic reflash TCU. then, got problems with engine mapping. after starting the engine, it will rev from 900 to 1100 briefly 3 to 4 times before idling.

Then the mechanic tried to remap the ECU. but then he wanted to change the map sensor. Since in Taiping, the part must be ordered first. I came with fewer problems, but left with more worries.

Another problem: Rear brakes give squeaking sound. The mechanic open the brake pads, showed me some dust in the groove on the pad. He said, cleaning it will eliminate the unwanted sound. But, as expected, the squeaking sound is still there.

Any help or experience from forumer?

Such fun going up genting. Overtaking vios easy... There was this toyota mark x 250g trying to overtake but couldn't haha. Cheap thrill. I was L while playing with him. On corners he can close in. But climbing seems the exora is better. Almost reaching the top, I slowed down and let him overtake. Then chase him from behind and close in while climbing on steep slope. So far happy with this mpv... Only uncertainty is the gearbox in the long run. Lol

Hello Proud EB owners biggrin.gif

Few months ago, I replace both of my headlamps at SC. Since then the headlight is not calibrated yet ( its too low). Can someone enlighten me how to adjust EB headlamp, as far as I know there will be 2 screws to adjust. But I dont know which is which

Planning to balik kampung at night, so I want good visibility to ensure safe journey smile.gif
