Thanks.

Wow nice app but the cost is RM6.50

Yeah it's a great app, though in no way is a 'fun' app like Lomogram, C360 etc. Its UI can be done better IMO but the developer is very active and responsive (there's probably a UI overhaul coming in light of Pro Camera being released). If you're into mobile photography and not too fond of dealing with Pro Camera (from feedback it sounds like Pro Cam doesn't run very well on devices it's not intended to run in), I can't recommend it enough. If you're only looking for manual focus, Camera360 has it as well.

May I ask,
1. When was 720 first launched and what's the price then?
2. What's the latest price at Nokia store now?
3. What's the latest price at outside shop for the original 720?
Thanks

Just came back from Nokia care centre. No Amber.

They just did "reinstall software" and clean the lens, which obviously doesn't solve the problem. Took a few outdoor shots and allowed the customer service girl to try herself, to which she agreed the edges are blurred badly. The front camera flicker still persist.

Sent for second repair. Nokia Care centre updated me telling me that those problems are normal. The purple hue and camera images blur at the edges. How do I convince them that it is indeed worse than expected? The blurring is really unbearable.

More images: Normal or screwed up lens?

Hey don't take my words for it (but you can take those stars it has over at Store biggrin.gif ). Also remember there is no video recording with this, and it doesn't support L1020's 38MP yet.

Doesn't look normal. Seriously. shakehead.gif Maybe you should show them how the actual _normal_ pictures look.

No other Lumia 720 users around me to test...can't use iphone/samsung galaxy camera... but hey, maybe i should anyway!

I e-mailed them a few sample pics, and this time they agreed to change the camera. Let's see how it goes!

EDIT: Then the front camera... they say they compared with Lumia 920, 920 also got the same problem, purple hue and flickering, so apparently the problem is there, no rectify. wah lao.

No rubberized backside cover to stop slipperiness of the backside? When I got the N9, they came with one which prevented me dropping it several times.

And what's the stylus pen for?

And no cover?

nothing, nada, zip, zilch that's why they can sell cheap at RM799, if they bundled with other stuffs then the price will be higher, i dont think u can get this price anywhere else, the cover u can buy separately for $30-40 bucks, btw the stylus pen is just for fun rclxm9.gif

The No.1 worries I have is, there are quite a few reports about 720 phone crashing/hanging and auto re-booting.

throughout my 4 months of owning this phone hang only once (app issues uninstall it then solved d) never auto-reboot b4. there have been episodes of freezing, lock the phone n unlock to solve it. now those episodes have lessened with some updates on display-touch .

some users here face issues with their camera and screen so please check before purchase. refer back some 10 pages+ for the post. smile.gif

some pix i took- (spoiler cause not resized) not sure if my hand shook or my cam also have blur problem? last two pix used smart shoot.
